I was more worried 4 months ago. if we had old squad that didn't gel, this is the only way to move on. we have nothing to lose. Short is a genius and has some guts he took in Di Canio and sacked MON, because without this move, we would play in Championship right now. I trust Di Canio and I'm not worried at all.

A lot of the signings PDC is trying to push through are young players with big potential for the future. Our new scouting team are more than familiar with what's out there. Inter Milan don't hand out contracts to anyone, these guys know exaclty what there looking for and where to find them. The club are trying to fill the acadamy side with these players so they can be blooded and promoted to the first team when required. Be patient and try to see the bigger picture, the season doesn't start for another 6 weeks.

Certain aspects of the squad gelled last year. eg gardner and johnson on the right wing. but it wasnt enough

Have a bit of patience and trust in the backtoom staff, short has brought in 2 world class scouts who have been compiling lists of players for a very long time at the top clubs in italy, I have full faith that when it comes to the new season we will have a good solid strong and competitive team, one that will p**s on those frenchy barcodes up the road!
