Right then. Players going around the transfer mill at the moment from what I know of are.

INS :
Ashley Williams - £4m bid made. Swansea possibly hoping for double that to let their captain leave.

Ever Banega - No idea. Know that talks have been made with his agent but I don't know if a bid will eventually be made or not.

Raul Meireles - Only heard rumours of this one apparent bid made but nothing concrete?

Moussa Sow - Again, rumours no official bids or anything?

Possibility of Marcos Alonso coming in permanently, one of the signings we HAVE to make in my opinion. I am doubting that Vergini will be back next season due to Billy Jones signing on.

OUTS :
Adam Johnson - Apparently there are rumours of him going to Everton. But on loan for the whole season. So not too sure.

Modibo Diakite - Hopefully will be used to sign Alonso.

Jack Colback - Going to the mags whether we like it or not. He has been a great player for us and although he is going to the toon I think we need to respect his decision as he wasn't being paid very well here hence the move. Good luck to the lad.

Why would we LOAN him and why would we let him go in the first place!

Colback most likely to go to the mags, I'm past caring, easily replaced

Borini staying at Liverpool, he can stay if he wants, the price that Liverpool wanted was silly anyway

Glad To See Altidore Doing Good for USA. Perhaps we should try him out for a few matches in August and see how good he is then. If he plays well we may not need to buy a striker for the XI. If he doesn't we should go for a striker in late August. I think Gus will hold pre talks with a strikers agent in case we do need to bid for a striker. Your verdict?

On Altidore Always thought that's there's a good striker in there waiting to come out and next season I think hell shine. his link up play is excellent so perhaps we are not using him right for our team. I think we need to play 4-4-2 to get the best out of him!. with strikers its just confidence and hell get that with the U. S. A team!

Colbacks well and truly gone. Perhaps we should go with a player similar but one which has better passing. I'm really hoping Gus sticks a bid in for Ki, he's a cracking player and can go on runs and pass great. Its the type if player we need. If we do get him (fingers crosses) I think Connor and jozu would suit him because they haven't really played a game with each other and with two massive strikers and a player who can pass. Well I don't even need to say anything. Ki will produce long passes and with Connor and jozys pace and strength and height they should produce a goal scoring opportunity. This is what nwe need. A threat going forwards. What do you think about bidding for Ki? And how much?

Makes you think why is it Altidore can score freely outside the Sunderland team. I hope well make the best use of him next season!

Im sorry but let's climb off the Jozy Altidore bandwagon a second. International football is a world of difference to club level, been some great international players who have done very little at club level and vice versa. You can't expect sunderland to change there style and gamble everything on Altidore coming good, he's worked hard for us but has given no indication during many opportunities
we should take that chance. Any decent offer and we take the money.
