Who should start as striker on Saturday?

It's either Jozy or Wickham
Gus has said that Wickham is 1st choice but Jozy has scored and might set him on the right path

Gus needs to sort his and the players act out, it's disgraceful. They literally don't have a clue, the defence is forever shaky, the midfielders struggle to create and defend and the forwards…well, you know
He needs to give them a boot up the arse, get them doing intense training and make them play like they want to win and CHANGE THE FORMATION, it doesn't work

I say, 4-2-3-1. Attacking fullbacks, 2 holding midfielders, 3 creative midfielders and a striker that actually wants to score. I'm sure this formation is what brought success to the likes of Everton and Southampton. We have the players that can do it, it's just the style and mentality we've adopted

If we don't clean up our act, we are gunna get ripped off Swansea and get relegated THIS time

For me its got to be mannone, van aanholt, vergini, o'shea, brown.
thats got to be the back 5 every time for me.
cattermole has got to be in only one for me with enough balls to command our midfield.
next buckley has got to be given more game time, gomez and giaccherini, i would put jozy in an attcking midfield role we all know he can hold players off and he has been instrumental in the past for creating chances a forward playing midfield might just make a difference, next whickham up front hopefully feeding off jozy
rodwell larson and johnson mid subs
might sound s**** but we need to try something different as the current formula ? well we all know how well that's working

The fact is that it doesn't matter what formation we play - the team is simply not good enough. Those people who were posting on this site stating that we had done well in the transfer window have now gone very quiet. The fact is that we have now got a worse starting eleven than last year - it could be argued that we have replaced like for like other than Borini but that equals worse. There was a massive rebuilding job needed but it cannot be argued that we have done well in the transfer window. There were two areas crying out for improvement - a goal scoring centre forward and a centre half. We haven't signed a centre forward at all and only signed a fourth choice Liverpool centre half on loan who was injured for most of the last season. I don't say this as I like to be negative - it is not the right option just to prestend everything in the house is rosey when clearly it is not

I'm sad to say that i made the point on various forums during the transfer gus was trying his hardest to put together the squad that just avoided the drop unfortunately he did not acheive this and this season i fear for us we lack pace our defence looks shakey and midfield don't seem to know what to do with the ball i the teams that come up just seem more hungry to survive than we do and results don't change by christmas gus will be on the bus
