Marcell Jansen - tall quick left fullback - alsocover at centre half - and allows us to push van Arnholt forward- free from Hamburg
Yemen konoplyanka - quick tricky attacking left winger - also free
Andre Pierre cognac - left footed man mountain of a striker - also free
All of them free and all capable of holding down a first team slot in our squad

Surely we ca afford these!!!!!

Cant believe this club! we are now at stalemate over the fee for Lombards! what's going on at this club? does Short want us to get relegated?. our transfer policy is a shambles as we don't want to pay the going rate? we desperately need quality players in but as usual every transfer is protracted! whilst our neighbours up the road are signing quality players! I feel we are in for a long hard season and the responsibility for that lies down to Short! does he want this club to succeed??

And having been outbid by the Boro for Downing we are after McGready another pushing 30 winger! the word is unbelievable if Congerton was in charge of a hotel I wouldn't board my dog there!. Vergini and Bridcutt out the door? i'd get rid of Congerton before them! this guy hasn't a clue!

What I heard is we are talking to Lens but no fee is agreed YET!Lens wants to come but Congerton and the club are messing about with the money . just pay it! Bournemouth Watford don't think twice so why do we? same with Lombards questions need to be asked WHY transfer targets are so problematic and drag on so long with this club??

I know a guy called Elvis at seaham, he works at the petrol station so that's not exactly a surprising sight ;) Also ftm it's not about stumping up the money, we just simply can't overspend if dick is to get 4 more players, lens & lombaerts together are going to take a chunk, more if we do have to buy alverez & there's the 2 mil that went for vergini too. In this business especially you just can't throw money at transfer fees as if you do every other club will rip you off quicker than you can blink.

Now if we could just chuck 49 mil like they have at sterling, only 40 mil too much really, then sure do it. We can't though so we have to work properly to ensure the transfer fee, agent fee, signing on fee(all of which come out of the transfer kitty) as well as wages & addons are decent.

Agree Congerton is the problem! wonder if he shops in Poundland Boot Sales and Markets!lol! the Alverez situation down to Congerton and also why pay £10 million for a crock like Rodwell normal people would have taken him on loan! what happened at the medical?? another one is Vergini! agree Wyndrusher there's a lot of deadwood here make them an offer pay them off! as we need to get the wage bill down first
