All the banter is good and hope is there for all to see but could I just point out that everyone seems to miss the fact that the problem has been not only the full backs but the central 2 and nothing has been done to solve that. We certainly aren't out of the woods yet so don't get carried away but certainly the signings must improve us because they are better than what we had.

Agree that the signings of Lens M`Vila Toivonen and of course Borini are probably the best signings in 4 or 5 seasons and I think most fans would agree.Defence is the biggest worry as I don't think we have improved anything at all.One point is that we now have a midfield who can play football,dont ever spoil it by playing Clattermole.

Did you even read my post below Lessthan88 that clearly states not improving the CB's was the only negative (as far as incoming players are concerned) from the window?

Or did you miss that fact!
