Why do we continue to go after players who have no desire to join SAFC? Williams, Borini. Roswell next. Can we not do some research 1st? Stoke getting Bojan - think they sounded out before bidding?
1.) Rodwell hasn't said he doesn't wanna come, apparently he was in Sunderland Yesterday

You can see his point, if by the end of the '4 players in 7 days' period we have not landed at least 2, he will be angry, concerned and keen to point out to the Board that we are rapidly approaching the new season and a repeat of last years start (a start so abysmal we were lucky to recover). If Gus tells the Board what he needs and when it is their job to deliver (having agreed); they will not be shy in chastising him, if we are struggling 2 months in.
JCFULWELL I guess talking to kitchen condiments adds flavour to your life but obviously has no value to SAFC transfer forums, as you point out.

Why Hull over SAFC? You answered your own question sighting last seasons results. then there is Europe, ambition and no visible unrest/ squabbling over transfer policy, direction etc. sell Wickham? Yes, no, sign not sign etc 4 players by next week etc versus Hull buying players they target and all agreed over sale of Long. Unity stability and ambition still have a place for payers (along with cold hard cash)
Brandon sadly I think you are bang-on with your assessment.
Better than Jack Colback is my only hope, as we need to move forward and improve as a club.

Time to panic now. As other clubs sign players we hare still yet to make any decent progress in key areas. Why is it just SAFC who seem to have this played out in front of the media? Forget the usual speculation, I am talking about which players have other clubs let it be known that they want to sign, for it to end in failure/humiliation?
Wages too much - we would need a 14 man squad to fit him in to the wage budget.
