Well done Gus! In 45 minutes you have done what Redknapp could not manage all season- you made QPR look like well drilled football team. How much longer will we have to put up with your clueless management, complete inability to put a put a team that is well organised and ready to fight for a result, and your increasingly ridiculous explanations of why the team has not progressed at all this season?

Obviously, Defoe is no mug, but he didn't score with the old formation, either. Do you think Fletcher/Wickham/and even Altidore could have found the back of the net more times had Poyet gone with 2 up front and pressed higher earlier in the season? Your thoughts?

I agree totally. If Gus had adopted the attacking mentality earlier in the season, and had Johnson and Wickham pushing forward to support Fletcher instead of concentrating on tracking back and defending then we would have scored more and probably won more games. We might have lost some that we drew but the wins would have balanced that out and probably brought more points!!
