I'm thinking we need kenwyne back. We should never of sold him. We should of bought better wingers. With larsson and mclean he would score for fun.

Stoke play long ball and hope for dead ball situations not with wingers. jones is an 18 yard box player waiting for crosses NOT play up front by yourself and run about like headless chicken (cos we are just booting it upfield) which is what we wanted him to do. i bet he would get us 10 goals between now and end of season

Jones was made to play upfront on his own and chase balls everywher what decent striker would be happy doing that. stoke do not use the wing system terrry says jones hardest/best striker he has come across. put balls in the box he will score goals FACT. NO NEED FOR HIM TO BE WORKHORSE ANY MORE

I am a Sunderland fan By the way....
Im not sure how he would fit in if were to go ahead, is he a fox in the box ( which is what we need ) Hes tall and could get on some of the fantastic crosses we have at the moment.

I agree caroll would score goals with the crosses we deliver but he is a geordie would rather get big kenwyne back on loan. he cant get a game at stoke and he would score for fun with larsson and mccleans crosses

You must be joking? hasnt he only scored 4 goals since this time last year and misses sitters every game, even newcastle fans where shouting to him you couldnt score in a brothel bramble brown kilgallon would nicely stick him in their back pocket anyday i think you look a tad bit silly mate u shud delete that last post :)
