think sunderland r lookin likely to be in the relagation dogfight next year!

Believable2 Unbelievable8

Rubbish, ages left on the transfer window and Quinn said we won't be signing players till July/August, you must obviously be a sad geordie, I would say screwcastle are more likely to be fighting relegation next year when Nolan, Barton and Enrique leave.SGB

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on ur team is sh**e u must realise that at end of last season since bent went uz were nackered. . things arent lookin up

Agree0 Disagree0

What would the point be in waiting until July/August? If the club have targets, why not get in early, so the player has time to settle in. Waiting could also mean that a bigger club may come in and hijack the deal (someone like NUFC). I think you are clutching at straws with that hope.
Although it appears that your top target Darren Gibson (ha ha ) is keen. Good luck.

Agree0 Disagree0

So if our team is s##e and we finished above you, what makes your team then???

Agree0 Disagree0

For our standards our team is s**t, however we are doing something about it, whilst your chairman has realised that no matter how much money he throws at the problem, 5under1and will always be s**t. How much money has agent Bruce wasted exactly?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not as much as newcastle. remember you nearly went under after your last chairman tried to buy you a cup. Take into account how much bruce has spent and how much he has recouped is only a fraction of what the scum have wasted. Also what are you exactly doing about it apart from the same old winding the fans up saying your gonna buy everyone BUT. . . FTM SGB.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll write a summary after the transfer window is finished. Whilst we will not get every player we are rumoured to be interested in, at least we are being firmly linked with quality players. Cabaye, an 11 million rated midfielder in for less than 5m. Sunderland, sell their supposed brightest talent for 20m, and look at players like Crouch, Gibson, O'Shea. I hope you get them, they are all awful.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry who is scott brown 6m from celtic and Neil Taylor from swansea? big signings eh? no chance, no one has heard of the french midfielder, yeah he has had a good season for Lille but if he is worth 11m then why did they sell him for 5m? you talking rubbish, he might struggle in the premiership. then you signed some kid who is 18 that no one has heard of. big signings your promised and you end up getting cheap players and nonames as usual. plus Quinn waits until July and august as most players are on holiday in June. Get a grip you deluded geordie moron. your rubbish and will be in a relegation dogfight next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha !, I really can't wait until the start of the season, and i'll be back on here to rub your grubby unwashed makem faces in the fact that our team has far surpassed the rabble that you will end up cobbling together.

Agree0 Disagree0

The difference is NUFC have gone out and signed players for relatively small amounts, that have been very succesful. Tiote being the obvious one, who would walk into your side as some sort of messiah. Ben Arfa, looked like he was going to be the same. Williamson for 1m, would again walk into your side.
You pay over the odds for crap, and have to pay them over the odds to come and play for you. When they do sign, they are straight up the road to the Toon to buy a house, because no one wants to like or work in Scumderland (not even makems).

Agree0 Disagree0

At the end of the day we've got phil bardsley

Agree0 Disagree0

We got him for 5m because we triggered his release clause. Much like Real did with Nuri Sahin. Check your facts.

Agree0 Disagree0

The clowns from the town actually think they have a good side can't be that good as they finished below an average sunderland side who had a spell where they had only one win in eleven games and had 10 players out injured wonder where they could have finnished if they didn't have all these injuries as a clown ye must be worried how far they will finnish in front again especially without ye best players nolan barton and enrique who has just been reported on local t.v is going to sign for liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

An average Sunderland side??? How many times in the past 20 years have you finished in the top 10 of the premier league?
If we are talking about averages, yours would be relegation zone prem/play offs champ.
Face facts, if the season started again tomorrow, NUFC would be in a better position than the SMB's. I can't really see that you lot are going to be able to sign the players that will keep you in the top 10.
No Bent, No Henderson, No Wellbeck, No Zenden, and these were arguably your best players last year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Instead of been on OUR banter page you should be looking at your own. Think about it Pardew is your new messiah who will attract all these big players and fat mike will take them to the local kebab shop. Everbody in the prem know nufc is the laughing stock of the league, your on the front pages more than the back. Give me Quinn and Bruce anyday over your joke setup of a club.

Agree0 Disagree0

We are no longer the laughing stock of the Premier league, not since we came back up. That title belongs to Liverpool right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

You have ALWAYS been the laughing stock of the premier league, it just got postponed while you were in the fizzy pop. Remember what your old chairman said about you the fans and mary poppins. Oh how we all laughed.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't say we have always been a laughing stock. Although there have been times when you turn sky sports on, and they are outside st james park interviewing 'fans'. These are usually the type of 'fan' that is not at work on a weekday afternoon, and seemingly wear their 5 season out of date toon top 24/7. With these idiots, who could argue about a laughing stock.
However, since coming back up we appear to have turned a corner, and are buying the right players at the right price.

We'll see next season who is the laughing stock, especially throughout the North East (not counting boro, who simply don't count).

Really? Looks depressing line up, not a lot of creativity, or quality for that matter. West Ham went down with a better team than this.

Agree0 Disagree0

What an average team. Bottom half of the table, that.

LOL at how all you silly sunderland fans thought your precious jordan henderson wouldn't join us! Aha a

Believable1 Unbelievable2

I support NUFC, and as much as i like laughing at SAFC losing there best player, i think that the makems are having the last laugh here. You have just paid 20m for a player who is average. Just like you paid 35m for a player that is never going to get more than about 15 goals a season.
Good luck with Dog Leash, you'll need it. He has a record of signing expensive flops.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha i agree with the mag fan there well said son get back to stealing car radios you scouse T***

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha , you Scousers are funny. £55m now us North Easy boys have extorted out of you goons and for what? An average midfielder and an injury prone striker? Tell you what, we're looking to off-load Ranger, he's English too if yous fancy throwing a £15m bid in for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

On paper the man ye call dog leash is ye best manager in 40 years took ye to a cup final and europe with no money had to bring his old pals from liverpool and cheap buys because ye had no money and was told to slash ye wage bill does this look like something that is happening now but ye only thing ye will be fighting this year is relegation and one sure thing king kenny will def have his team above pardew then again who will be ye manager in january as pardew will be on the dole when ye in bottom 4
