Huntelaar is a name no one has mentioned Spurs nearly got him for 8m last season so what if we offer higher

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont be ridiculos his stock has risen a lot he's a top class striker.

I also think N'Diaye will be like a new signing for next season because after looking pretty dreadful to begin with, Di Canio completely changed his game and he looks an outstanding prospect and someone we've been crying out for.

Hope you are right because he wouldn't get a game for my local pub team on some of those performances he needs to hit the season running or he could end up being a bench warmer

The only thing I will say is for as excited as everyone is (me definitely included in that) I hope the very same people show some patience at the beginning of next season. It's a brave new world were bout to enter but it will take time, can imagine we might get a couple of hammerings just while we get our squad up to speed, but if we get through the opening period relatively unscathed then we can dream. To give you an idea, Di canio took over Swindon, won something like 8 and lost 8 of first load of games, then everything clicked, then they blew the whole league apart. League 2, Prem different worlds I know but you get the picture.

Was thinking the same thing, patience is a must. Remember 'Rome was'nt built in a day', lol.

About time people spoke sense agree with this post takes time to build a great team PDC is the right man for the job

3rd post, there's no way you can say that after what happened with o'neill.

ed do you think ba will spend a season or 2 with the u21 squad? safc93 {Ed024's Note - Wouldnt be surprised ....he was playing in Ligue 2 last season and didnt play many games - might see him in the cup games ?}

newcastle thinking about bidding £6million for darren bent. i can't see it happening but for 6million would you have him back at sunderland? {ed024's note - for me no. too similar to fletcher. But he desparately needs a new club - would do ok for the Mags}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not bitter against Darren bent. it wasn't his fault he had a bust up allegedly with bruce over his daughter, which ended his career with us. for 6mill he would be a snip as most of us know a fully fit Darren bent is a very good striker let's hope he goes to Fulham then lads

Agree0 Disagree0

I would have Bent back any day, hopefully if we don't go in for him I think he will go to Fulham, anywhere but NUFC as he will score goals.

I know this might not be everyones opinion, but I would keep bardsley.

personally I like the lad, and he's not a bad squad player. not saying he's world class and i'm not even saying he's first 11. but I do think by releasing him we are just creating another space to fill? {Ed024's Note - I dont think PDC is the kiss and make up type.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree mate but to bring new players in we need to move on the bigger money earners and I would think that bardsley is one of our biggest

Ed! Do you think Wes Brown contracted should be terminated? {Ed024's Note - Depends ...if he cant get fit enough to play would be in the best interests of the Club and him to go. If he can get fit ...he can fight for a place.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Like my reply on above post mate another big earner that needs to move on if the rumours are right about titus 40k a week I wouldn't like to think what brown and bardsley are on {Ed024's Note - Fair point}
