tv reporting Graham (knee injury) and Whickam (knock) both doubtful.
I heard they were both fit!

Grahams starting Wicham is out not even on the bench probably wise not to risk him with so few strikers and vital games ahead !

Apparently short told pardew to f**k off this week when pardew went to shake his hand. Seems even our owner is getting into the derby mood. Safc93

5 reasons why the Tyne-Wear derby is the best derby in england:
1) Both teams have loyal and passionate fans (Unlike most man u, chelsea, arsenal glory hunters), stadiums are never quiet.
2) There is always controversy in the derby (Not in a bad way!) but its always exciting, nail biting, nerve-racking to watch!
3) Its a very historical and fierce rivalry.
4) Everyone in the north east cares about the derby, as it affects the mood in cities etc. Both teams are one team cities (Unlike manchester derby, where there are still liverpool, everton, blackburn fans who don't care)
5) It is often a very exciting derby, as there is always something at stake and it's not that often where there are thrashings.

Which is why I got a good laugh at the Sundeland fans doing the poznan at the end of last season.
Make no mistake though, I am going to savour watching Sunderland getting slayed and sent on their merry way down tomorrow.
