im happy with the result, but admit it we got lucky, they were the better team and they missed a pen and scored but it didnt count, personally i dont think we played very well.

Maybe first half but second half I thought we were the better team by a long shot

Not bad away at Liverpool, not many teams to get a result there.

Playing away...so ???...a couple of weeks ago I read on hrere top 5-6-7 and 1 person even said top 4....thats no excuse for a top team, seems like it's starting to sink in what we've been telling you all summer about your rubbish signings......bring on next week

Nout lucky about the game, excellent second half performance from the lads especially Brown he had carroll in his back pocket for 90 mins

Liverpool fan here, I went to Uni at Sunderland in the early 90s.The Boro was my favorite bar,lol oh and the bakery that that sells the chips and gravey over the road.
I cant wait to see the Geodies down here, (I cant get to away to away games because of work)
Arsenal were sh*** yesterday and the black and whites couldnt beat a 10 man team, even by cheating... All football fans want to see Barton chewed up by the FA what a cheat. Song from Arsenal Too he is a dirty f**ker too.

They couldnt beat a deflated Arsenal team with only 10 players and you were at home We were the better team 2nd half... This is Anfield we were playing at and I would have took a 1-1 before the game.

I'm a Sunderland fan you pleb. You must be one of those fans who because we've signed 10 players over the summer has suffered long term memory loss. Bruce has made a catalogue of errors since he came through the door. Do you hybernate from Jan to May? Third start to a season without a recognised left-back, No Bent replacement as promised, players playing out of position and the fact that he's piped on all summer about needing to score more goals from midfield, brings in Gardner to solve the problem then starts him on the bench to accommodate Colback, who was only good enough for Ipswich last season and only played for us at the end of the season because we where down to the bare bones. A problem Bruce created himself by insisting the squad was to big

The lack of a left back is worrying as is the lack of a target man up front. I agree he has had a long time to fill the gap.

Thanks mate... You had the better of us in the 1st half and still could have won it in the 2nd... We are still dabbling/tinkering with the squad I feel.. I think we will see a more positive line up against the Mags. A thank you to the Liverpool lads who came on Talk Sport last night... They said some nice things about our new team and our supportors yesterday.

I agree with that, shouldve been a cricket score at half time but thats just the prem i guess and i think a draw was a fair result overall
