Believable3 Unbelievable0

Not bad 4 a team that includes wickham nd wong don aswel the future looks bright . any newcastle players called up ed ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ryan noble was already in the squad, he couldnt not be, hes a goal machine, shame he was injured at the end of last season when we had no fit forwards, could have been his chance

Sunderland have a lot of depth, i think they'll do well this season. I'm intrigued as to how the Wickham - Gyan partnership will work out. I also really rate Sessegnon. Cattermole is a good player when he is on the pitch and Turner is a solid centre half when he is fit. If Westwood turns out to be a solid keeper i think they could be looking at top half next year.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Will never find out how the partnership will work, gyan is away

Agree0 Disagree0

In your dreams mag

Agree0 Disagree0

You should offload Cattermole. The guy proved so many times last season that he is nothing but a liability. If he isn't getting sent off, he's injured. Constantly gives away stupid free kicks and loses possession. Since yous are spending, you may as well replace him with someone better.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is all of those things but he is also a great motivator for the team and the crowd and he never stops closing down the opposition. He's also a good passer on his day just not very often If he wasn't so thick he would be a great player

Christ you goons can't think of better p*** takes than that? What's the funniest thing is you used one of your own players lmao it's one thing taking the Mick with some crap from a lower league, but to use your own player ha ha just shows the mentality over there on the dark side

sir alex fergusan talking about having 6 strikers competing with each other. he has mentioned macheda and mame diouf coming back. so that makes the six. rooney, hernandez, berbatov, owen, macheda and diouf.

where welbeck. if he available we should definatly get him back. i would try buy him first because he is a good player. About the same amount that we payed for wickham should do it

I laughed when i saw the headline ' Heskey to Newcastle ' then what happens? Bruce only goes and hijacks the deal, Heskey to join to try and nurse Wickham into a premier player and Gyan off to spurs.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Geordie's humour is as good as their team pathetic Heskey is the calibre of striker you will get coz you have no money. Gyan, Bruce, Quinn has said he is going nowhere. It really is making you sound thicker everytime one of you try and say he is going. Who is screwcastles next big signing Taylor from Swansea or that young lad from Palace? wow. We still got money to spend and expect a good striker to come, a left winger and a defender. Geordie Jealousy is getting really boring now

Agree0 Disagree0

What ya talking about?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wot cudnt u understand ? d- - - d

Agree0 Disagree0

Was on about the mags drivel at the top. Zzzz av just woke up 12 hours after reading it

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? Did reading that whole sentence take it out of you? Lmao.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think the geordie's need to go back to school, I read what I have put over and over again and still don't see why the lad cudn't get it, apart from punctuation mistakes but It's not like I taking part in an english exam. SGBS

nice to see Young and Downing having sense jumping ship from Villa, wonder what a muppet the Judas feels like now, bet he goes to one of the big four or Liverpool before the end of the window

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Ha i honestly think aston villa will get relegated this season along with wigan and probably blackburn

Agree0 Disagree0

Dream on villa have just bid 7.5m for parker

Agree0 Disagree0

I really hope Blackburn do, would love to see Villa down as well. Villa are a pretty poor team, lets be honest. Losing their two main wingers? Really good business that. They have a very good youth squad though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get real even with a so called poor team they still finished higher than you lot

Agree0 Disagree0

At what point did I say we were a good team? We have just come back from relegation, Villa were in Europe [not for long] the season before last. You need to get real, Villa are awful.

Seriously is nobody allowed to have an opinion on another club without you person Mackems comparing them to Newcastle? You're all stupid f***ing bellends.

Agree0 Disagree0

Laugh at people who think villa are a good side everyone is jumping ship down there do you even watch sky sports news or read news papers? the fans are absolutly sh****g them selves for the new season. so will Nufc if they don't sign some decent big name players.

Hearts fan here - just wondered why it seems like Sunderland are looking to transfer Craig Gordon?

I remember him at Tynie as being nearly unbeatable. I think he's had a few injuries at Sunderland. Is that the reason? If he's fully fit, I can't imagine it's because Bruce thinks he can find a better keeper?

I'd hate to see him playing for Celtic who seem to be linked. Can't see it though. I remember when Celtic were going for the league and we had nothing to play for, he was going up for corners against them in the last few minutes just to play up to the Hearts fans and try to derail Celtic's title bid. Don't think Celtic fans will forget that.

Good luck for the new season.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Aye pal your spot on, he's had an awful time with injuries. On his day he's a class act, but sadly there hav'nt been to many of them.

I was up for the Rangers game last season (cracking result)
Not that i can remember that much, we were in the Merky Hearts Club? (spelling) about 9.30am and had a fantastic day, everyone so friendly.
All the best for next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is always injured, on his day he is class but too injury prone

Agree0 Disagree0

Too many injuries to justify his 40k per week wages

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for coming back to my post. I figured it had to be injuries cos the man is unbelievable and I think without the injuries he'd be at Man U by now. Plus anyone who knows him will testify he is a model professional and not a typical EPL player at all. Very humble and friendly. But you are right - £40k is a lot on a keeper who doesn't play regularly.

Again - good luck for the season ahead. One of my best mates married a Sunderland girl and lives down there and goes to the occasional game. Speaks highly of the EPL and Sunderland fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck to you lot aswell m8

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree he is a decent shot stopper and a very nice man to talk to but at 6"4' he is shocking at coming off his line and he is far too weak. The amount of goals we concede after balls hit him and roll over the line is awful. I haven't seen Westwood play before but I hear he is very consistent which is what you need from a keeper and apparently he loves a cross. Let's hope so.

Good luck for the season.

ed , how cum we don't get a chance to reply 2 rumours the same way our poor cousins on their site do ? {Ed001's Note - because we haven't had a chance to change it over yet, can only do one site at a time.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cos your site doesn't get used as much as ours Same as the seats in your stadium then

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats obvious our site doesn't get as used as much as sgb. we like to think that the transfer targets we state are realistic not like the fantasy put up on the sgbs dream on

Agree0 Disagree0

No, its because you have less fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Does the geordie drivvle get any better? Big wow they get more fans in their landfill site. it's hard words, just like the other one 5-1, I'm crying into my hankie right now. god geordie's have no new krak at all. pathetic

Agree0 Disagree0

F***ing hell mate get yourself a dictionary and look up the meaning of irony. We have no patter? All you hear from your lot is:

"Deluded"
"Screwcastle"
"Laughing stock"
"Top dogs"
"Ur jst jelus coz wer spendng munny"

Same, tired old s**t over and over. Take a look in the mirror, jackass.
