Short has already said money is available for any players oniell has targeted {Ed046's Note - nobody saidthere was

Hopefully striker is Defoe and midfielder is either Huddlestone or Johnson

Short will not give him what he requires as he,s done that with last couple of managers and its back fired you have a budget thats why mon is taking is time are you seriuosly telling me theres a host of top teams chasing fletcher....NO exactly thats why he aint rushing in......

He's after fletcher because that's the style of foward he wants , short said he will back oneil as long as the players are right for the club . Think this is a sensible approach for the club quality not quantity , but I have to say I would rather get Defoe than fletcher
