Sunderland team will take some time to Gel, a lot of new players. Not found his first team yet. I personally think it will be a Relegation battle. And if they finish hi than 16th. I will get waxed all over my body and I am a hairy one.

John Jackson.

How long do quality professionals take to gel? They have had all of pre season to practice together and now 4 league games. If it takes a long time to gel why didn't PDC have more pre season games then?
Why did he show faith in Ji when we could all see he was useless? Why did he buy Cabral who seems a class act but totally ignore him?
They say there is a fine line between genius and lunacy and I pray to God PDC is the former.
We are 4 games in and we can't wait 20 games for a win. We need to beat the teams in the lower half if we are going to climb the table and now is the time against West Brom. If we don't, then a gap starts to open up and it gets harder. If we do, then we breed some confidence and get this revolution really started.

International teams only get a matter of days to train before international games, and they still seem to perform.

The team has had months!

Agree0 Disagree0

I never win my footy bets so i'm going to bet on newcastle to win every game lol

Agree0 Disagree0

You know what mate that works. I am also useless with my Footy coupon and just bet for fun, anyway in the season newcastle went down I took them to win nearly every week and they always let me down, they never let me down at the end of the season when they got relegated.

We will be completely Fine this season

Westwood
Celustka, diakite, Roberge/Brown, colback
Johnson, Ki, Catts/Gardner/Giaccherini
Altidore/Fletch

SUBS:Brown/Roberge, Catts/Gardner, Mavrais, Mannone, Borini, Cabral, Dossena

That is a very good squad
After that second half performance, it shows that the players are begging to gel and will be playing very good football and will win plenty of games

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A very average side at best with most of that squad with no PL experience. A very good chance of relegation especially with your manager throwing his toys out the pram at every opportunity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep the faith

Agree0 Disagree0

A sensible post and then a mags deluded opinion, we have a strong team starting to gel with back ups you have a strong team SGB just with no back ups to replace the players that will get injured at some point! the only team with relegation on it is yours mugpie!

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep kidding yourself. You can see by your ranting that it is blind faith that you think you have a good squad. Your not 4 games and bottom for no reason. Beaten by 2 teams who will be scrapping it out to stay in the league. I would say it is your post that is deluded just don't like to face facts.

Agree0 Disagree0

''A sensible post and then a mags deluded opinion''

The only deluded ones here at the Sunderland fans lol. You are in complete denial.

You think the team needs time to gel with the other excuse being that PDC normally tells the truth because he has predicted you would get beat a lot.

I just do not know exactly what you are expecting to change. Other teams have added players and will gel too, that means they will also get better so you will still be where you are.

You will pick up 3 points sooner than later, and you will all think this is your time and the team has clicked, but what is likely to happen is that you will only pick up a win every 3 or 4 games after that.

Hard times ahead lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Even with 2 catts in the aquad I have to agree with the skunk
dont miss the bus
go get gus

Agree0 Disagree0

This coming from mags who just 2 games ago were wanting the cockney mafia out coz they didn't sign anyone apart from another french lad! YES Faith I believe in our manager and our team unlike you SGBS!

Agree0 Disagree0

I still want the cockney mafia out. That won't change anytime soon. Just think yourselves lucky you have a chairman who backs your club. Not that it's doing you lot any good but he backs it all the same.

Good but of news
Atkinson has been punished for his sh*te performance

He's the ref for the Newcastle game

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Thought he had a great game. Obviously the FA thought the same as he get to referee in a bigger, fuller stadium with better players. Sounds like a reward not a punishment.

Agree0 Disagree0

Knowing our luck newcaslte will dominate

Believable0 Unbelievable0

well 4 games into the season we are bottom of the league and if you believe what most geordies are saying we are already relegated. well man city and Chelsea have started the season poor along with man utd who aren't playing well yet it would take a brave man to put his life on the line and say one of those 3 won't win the league.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah
Liverpool gunna win this season

Wait till 10 games into season to judge PDC and the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't compare your start to Man u, Chelsea and City. They will come good because they have good managers and tremendous squads. You lot don't. Huge difference.

Arsenal we are title contenders you are a mid table team so this result doesn't count you need to pick up points against cardiff hull crystal palace liverpool etc so don't let the mags go on about the result you were never expected to get anything from the game

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ramsey sure is one hell of a players now
I hope he gets in front of Wilshere in the team, because he ain't as good as people think

Agree0 Disagree0

Picking up points from your homes is the best way to stay up. You might as well not turn up with an attitude that you won't get points from those games.

Hello guys arsenal fan here sorry to be the bearer of bad news but after you guys performance yst I'm certain you are favourites to go down and your manager to be the first manager sacked. you guys are much like liverpool they thnk they gona get top 4 now that's funny and you guys thnk you will be arnd the top half of the table don't thnk so jus as deluded as liverpool. the mags have a better team at the moment to be honest.

Good luck trying to stay up this year

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If you are a genuine Arsenal fan, then enjoy your short time at the top of the table. It won't last long.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you need to be concerned about your own club now getting 60k for home games the highest price for season tickets have spent millions on players and won nothing since 2005 as for Newcastle they have a very good starting 11 maybe better than arsenal but lack strength in depth. Liverpool have now got a well balanced side and look like a good bet for a top 4 finish along with spurs. as for sunderland I would be concerned on the start we have had if we had not brought in a load of new players who will take time to gel and for pdc to actually see who is his best starting 11.

''I'm guessing you didn't watch the full game did ya

Paul Lambert said that it was a bad one to lose against you, shows how even the poor teams rate your world beaters''

If Aston Villa are so poor how come they beat Arsenal and knocked 6 past Sunderland. LOL

Villa never looked like getting anything out of their game with us, even when it went back to 1-1 you could see it was just a matter of time until we scored another. We carved them up like a Sunday roast.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Top line was for our game,
It's football ain't it, they thump us, you win them and we smash you, it's a funny old game
You may have comfortably won them but the fact is that other teams see you as a must not lose team

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe they do but surely they see you lot the same way?

Agree0 Disagree0

Having heard it said about us yet

Agree0 Disagree0

''Having heard it said about us yet''

That is because the manager of other teams will happily give you a pat on the head after beating you.

When other teams managers are getting wound up after playing you, you will know you have done something.

Anyone understand PDCS comments about Cabral?. saying he's too slow and is fourth choice? strange comment after impressing in his opening games?. or is this indicative of PDCS erractic management of his players?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Supposedly PDC has better plays than Cabral at the moment well that is what the Shield Gazette says

Agree0 Disagree0

Waste of wages. Why sign a slow tank not good enough when Niko Kranjcar went on loan to a Championship side.

What is cheaper, a 4 year contract for a player 4th choice, or a 1 year contract for a player that would no doubt win player of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously the last post didn't go to the Fulham game but if you did mate there must have been only you and pdc who thought cabral had a bad game. to me he was our man of the match if had played on Saturday then arsenal wouldn't have been able to carve our defence up so easy. as for pdc I will still give him my backing because he is the manager of the club I support but if he keeps on going the way he is then he will be out of work by xmas

Agree0 Disagree0

Got 4 theories

Story full of sh*t, as usual

Isn't up to what PDC wants, may not be determined and hungry to play at his best

PDC trying to put a bit of fire in his belly and make him determined to fight for his spot

One Pre Season game doesn't reflect what he does week in week out
