Seeing judas colback in a shirt is like seeing your best mate bedding the wife. I feel sick. Also let's not panic after one result at least we showed some back bone to come back. Draw away games n win our home games n champions league here we come. Joking aside let's giv them 10 games they can't b any worse than last year when we had 4 after 11

What you mean let's not panic? A draw away from home in the Premier League is a good result, we should be more positive rather than panicking. Showed some character and we can play miles better than that. i'm not sure what peoples expectations are but I get the feeling some are unrealistic if people are downbeat from a 2-2 away from home.

Poyet put it perfectly

When they got that second goal, we would of gave up and conceded 2 or 3 more

I feel we did alright. Especially for having players forced to play out of position. And I felt the Baggies played pretty well. Aside from earning a goal from the soft penalty, they did controll the ball in the first half and put pressure on us. I think a lot of us were expecting a team possibly worse than what we played at SoL in the spring. That wasn't the case. They played well at times, but we got the draw. At least it wasn't a loss to Fulham!

So Poyet has said he wants 3 more players
A centre back / full back
A winger who tracks back and scores (basically Poyet wants Borini)
A central midfeilder (this surprised me because we look sorted here, Catts is a great defensive player and turns out he can strike a ball, Larsson is a work horse and also technically brilliant in dead ball situations and I think he will be as good this season as he was in his first season with us. Rodwell is going to be a big player for us, good defensively, can make late runs into the box, good in possession, strong in the air and on the ball and has a good engine (when fit) and Gomez looked top class when he came on, great touch and brilliant vision. I can only imagine the player he wants will be back up or he wants a brilliant addition to create everything, eg Banega (who we have been previously linked with) but I'd prefer big money to e spent in a solid defender

Mr. Makem are you crazy? Larson good at set pieces? Gomez looked class? there was a reason for no one taking him when wigan were relegated if he had been class like james mccarthy he would have been snapped up!

I think it has to be a minimum of three.

I would say at least one CB but preferably two, ideally one who could also maybe cover LB. Most of the rumours have dried up as to who this/these might be; Richards (unlikely), van Dijk (unlikely), Evans (unlikely), Duertes (don't know but no UK experience), Dawson (heard nothing to suggest we are looking), Coates (again, gone quiet here too). Any others, preferably with PL experience? I might stick my neck out and say Zouma might be back on the cards.

Then we're looking at another CM; can't think who this might be. Benega (no going to happen), one from Spurs (Chadli, Holtby, Sandro - again all gone quiet), Zuculini (is a no-go), Fletcher (unlikely). Anyone heard anything?

Then talk of a winger. Well in the early days there was talk of Milner, Lennon and Townsend (all gone quiet now), Moses got mentioned in despatches (signed for Stoke), Sinclair (possibly?), Rodriguez (gone quiet) and of course Borini (likely?).

I also happen to think another striker would not go amiss. There was talk of Hernandez (would like to see it but again gone quiet), Eto'o (not going to happen). Anyone else?

I'm really hoping there is going to be a quick strike and the club goes announces the capture of a couple more; only two weeks left of the window now so we need to crack on.

It was quite evident yesterday we need quality in these 3 places
I hope/would like
Richards - 5m
Borini - 14m or loan
Midfielder=dunno - 7m?? (my friend made an interesting point, I just read an article, Congerton said "we want English heart and a Spanish style of play" my mate pointed out that we have the English heart in Cattermole and Rodwell so this might mean that we are after a Spanish playmaker to dictate the play, no idea who it could be though

It's come out that Pulis left because he wanted control of transfers and didn't want the players the board are trying to sign. Palace are of the verge of signing Wickham for 8 million and giving the player a big pay rise. Personally I'd snap their hand off we need a center back a attacking midfielder who can drive with the ball and a winger. Poyet has always stuck with a 4231 style game or 433 so fletcher or wickham can go in my eyes. If this extra money can fund better quality players I'm all for it. Richards would be nice at center back Borini for the left side and maybe a Dembele in midfield. Will be an interesting last two weeks to the window to see if we sign any more big names like Rodwell or sell any of our big hitters like Fletcher or Wickham with reports saying hull want fletcher aswell to replace long. Are we looking to offload both?
