I think it's too early to guess who will be sold this summer, my guess is that Di Canio will assess the players when they come back from their break and see if they have the quality and to see if they will show commitment to the club, e. g. Not putting on any weight on (Di Canio has said players will be fined if they are not fit)

I would have thought that he has already sussed most of them out.
The games he was in charge and videos of past games etc. will be enough for most of them. PDC appears to be a workaholic and has probably done his homework.

I see Palace are in for him! that's a shame as I still rate him highly the problem being he was rarely played in his central midfield berth where he plays best!

Hope Vaughan stays though. May not be the quickest player, but he's definitely one of our best midfielders. Great rotation player. I'd prefer to see Cattermole and/or Larsson go before Vaughan. Hopefully, most would agree.

Vaughan reminds me of iniesta, the way he plays with his quick agility and balance and short passing

Vaughan suffered hard due to a groin injury for most of last season but says he's back to full fitness. On his day, Vaughan is one of the best central midfielders outside of the top teams. Larsson achieved nothing last season. Nothing. Wasn't good enough, even amongst the worst of our team. His set pieces were even horrid. And Cattermole? With the knee I jury and the ott aggression, he's a liability. Too much of a liability for me.

Regarding catts, the manager will appreciate his comittment, drive, strength, and skill. Results show were a better side when he plays. Hopefully PDC can iron out his 'indiscretions'. Anyway its all about opinions.

Ps the gates you lot are having restored will not be allowed to be errected in front of your goal during matches although they would be better than your defence from last season.
Just seen on txt that Pardew greeted Kinnear appointment with 'delight', more like it rhymed with delight but comes out of arses after a meal. Pardew to resign before start of season so Ashley will not have to pay out lump sum of compo.
Roll on the fixtures to see when the derby date is.

Not really, i'm glad we've got a director of football, we won't be playing hardball with transfers anymore because kinnear has the knowledge to back pardew and get the players in they want. Let's just see whether di canio has had beginners luck and see what happens in the derby.

Cattermole is pure quality controls the game passing the ball left to right getting us forward. I understand he gets sent off frequently but under di canio he says he's changed his mentality wish people on here would remember what we're like without him in the squad!
