my oh my what a sorry state we are in the back 4 is totally shite defoe is having a nightmare and the manager doesn't have a clue the only player to light up our season so far can't get on the bench today the sooner dick goes the better along with jones coates kaboul van arnholt defoe cattermole johnson gomez fletcher and graham as they are not premiership class. and they will definately take the club down let's start by giving the youth a chance against man city in the cup and Manchester United away because the players I have mentioned don't have a hope in hell of beating either of the manchester teams so if we are to lose these games let's see what we have in the youth and reserves it can't be any worse

Can anyone explain to me why we put Vergini out on loan and then sign Kaboul. Vergini wasn't that bad and without doubt better than Kaboul. Why do we always seem to get some players who are worse than ones we sell or loan out? I'm no expert but certainly am confused.

The Main problem with Vergini was he used to play his way out of the back four but I agree he looks a world beater compared to Kaboul and Coates. looks like a long hard season for us!

Coates is consistently THE WORST player on the pitch. Yes, Kaboul didn't play well, but to me a lot of his troubles were from Coates being caught out of position. Play Brown and O'Shea! Better than the mugs we've got. Play the kids! Anyone but Coates and Kaboul. I wouldn't give Coates another chance in the first team. Absolute crap.

Vergini playing the ball out of defence. Since when is that a problem. Chelsea want to pay 40 mill for a player that does that.
Do sunderland center halves have to aim for row z.
If I wanted to watch that type of football I would go to wimbledon afc.

A lot of teams are struggling to get points so far this season, and 3 points today would see us climb a couple of places and soothe our frayed nerves.We should boss this game and get our first win, but this is Sunderland after all, good luck to the lads, please don't let us down today.
