billy sharp at stadium of light top man

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Geordie's are getting funnier. SGB

Agree0 Disagree0

At least we could afford him not a bad player but take note as he could be a future newcastle player when they get relegated

Agree0 Disagree0

3 million likes red and white stripes

Agree0 Disagree0

Will score more than wick ham

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a bad turn but not really premiership class

This is two the two posts about jermain defoe being in the north east apparently he is in talks and was spotted near th SOL apparently we have first refusal once spurs sign a new striker because we were first to make an enquiry my source is usually correct about most transfers

Believable3 Unbelievable0

First come first served? Dont work like that mate Its who has the best offer on the table Plus doubt Defoe will move north cos he a real london playboy Quinny might be after Bentley or negotiating Gyans sale to spurs

Agree0 Disagree0

Bentley when we signed Larsson rubbish. Gyan to spurs?? rubbish, does anyone actually pay attention to what Gyan said that he is staying at Sunderland and he doesn't want to go. honestly geordie's made that rumour up and they numbskulls are still using it. pathetic SGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Defoe not leave London he went to Portsmouth not exactly playboy is it I'm just saying he has Been spotted three times this week and Quinn is reportedly in london

Agree0 Disagree0

Y the hell would quinn be at spurs if hes the one buyin the player? now am not sayin defoe aint signin for you smb's but quinn won't go to london to sign some1, they will come to the north east. fools

Agree0 Disagree0

Quinn could of bin in london to meet short. And if we were in talks with defoe thn he cud of had a meeting with short and quinn. Look at connor whickem bruce flew him out to portugal to have a meeting so it wudnt suprise me if they were tbh

Agree0 Disagree0

Defoe is so overrated its unreal. Dunno why people get so excited at the prospect of signing him. 25 in 64 this spell at Spurs and 43 in 140 in his first spell? That is not a prolific strikers record.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Quinny not go down to london to sign Defoe plenty of other managers have flown around the world to persuade players and possibly offer them a contract
SGB

Agree0 Disagree0

25 in 64 is a good return so he doesn't sound like a bad signing to me

Agree0 Disagree0

Quinn has made personel visits many times. He told a story at a talk in recently about how he went over to Ireland especialy to see a young lad to sighn for the SAFC acadamy, not even the the reserves Only to find Mr Fergerson had beat him to it by 24 hours so if its good enough for mr Fergerson , its good enough for us

1st of july and all these deal nufc where going to have tied up today erdinc gervino nzogbia etc have ye seen there rumour and banter page ive never seen it as empty does anyone think reality is setting in

Believable3 Unbelievable0

No just all out or on hols It was on ere too that SAFC would sign zog today Where is he? Just optimism on both sets of fans part

Agree0 Disagree0

With the arrival of these new players and the 3 lads from man utd arriving for talks this week i don't think sunderland will pay 9+mill for someone to sit on the bench in nzog i do think quinn and bruce will have completed their signings till january

Agree0 Disagree0

N'zog wouldn't be on the bench we need a right winger, but if he doesn't come then I would go after Snodgrass of Leeds for 6m

Agree0 Disagree0

N'zog is a left footer mate couldn't kick the ball 6 yards with his right unless sb is going to play bardsley on his fav right and uses richardson as lb don't think we will go for nzog though it would be nice t put one over the sgb

Agree0 Disagree0

Left winger i meant

we starting to get on about the past a lot lads brief history lesson last north east team to win the f.a cup sunderland last north east team to win the league sunderland and last north east team to win a major trophy sunderland 1973 that's a fact end of lesson and lets look forward to the future

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Yeah your future looks rosey ha championship Best 2 players you have signed were relegated last year after great season for birmingham Work it out Great personal seasons yet relegated can't be any good really

Agree0 Disagree0

Last team to finish in the top 3, last team to play in the Champions league, Last team to play in a European semi final, last team to appear in a FA cup final, last club to win a european cup, last club to humiliate their rivals 5-1. History lesson over.
Col

Agree0 Disagree0

Wait there wasn't your star crock signing Ba relegated with West Ham? great 7 goals in 12 matches but they still got relegated and you have the nerve to have ago at us about Larsson and Gardner, who decided to come to sunderland over screwcastle. sour grapes from the geordie scum if you ask meSGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

Larsson and Gardner were not targets for Newcastle. I would say that Ba could hardly be blamed for WHU going down. Having been signed in January, and scoring 7 goals in 12 matches was about all he could do for that shocking team.
Col

Agree0 Disagree0

History record away win in top flight 1-9 sunderland at sjp as for ye record of playing in europe top 3 finish fa cup final etc no silverware to show for it who remembers losers there again everyone will remember newcastle as the team that blew the league surely a record that will never be broken and ye sgb crying on the television what a laugh for all football fans around the country and sunderland geordies are and always will be natural born losers

Agree0 Disagree0

That shocking team is that the team ye captain and top score has chose above newcastle to play for next season because nolan has realised what sunderland fans have been saying for years its now called screwcastle for doing ye players and ye fans and for giving ye false pretences look forward to ye main target joining taylor from swansea more big signings iminent NOT

Signed anymore championship standard players today?

Col

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You signed another french school boy 2day? yes, Where is the 35m+ you supposed to be spending? answer that 1st you clown SGB

Agree0 Disagree0

We haven't signed any French school boys, so that comment is a load of cack. Who has ever said that we would be spending £35 million? No one has. Do you honestly think that your comment bothers NUFC fans. We would rather have quality, than someone who is expensive.
Col

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality is expensive so I suggest you start spending some money

IhateCol

Agree0 Disagree0

If we are to challenge for Europe next year we will need to start spending. If we are to finish above you lot next season, then we can probably stick with what we've got.
Col

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality not always expensive You have scouting system in place to unearth gems that will be great players and not expensive. Sound like a brand snob but can't be supporting the north east bingo

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality is expensive??
Larrson and Westwood must be cack then

Agree0 Disagree0

No Col if you stick with what you have got u will get relegated off you add to your team you may beat one of the three promoted teams also Seb larsson and Westwood were free transfers so no fee was needed to pay for our quality good buisness on sunderlands part

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny that we had less players when we battered you lot last season, and you had more players. Who should be worried?

I hear a lot of shouting coming from you sad Mackems. . so will these new signings get you off your backsides and away from the telly. . I doubt it

Believable1 Unbelievable0

This geordie jealously thing is getting boring now. these geordie's and their pathetic comments, what a joke they are.SGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

You sado mackems, have you lot not worked it out yet? Were not at all jealous of you lot, were only taking the pee and you bite everytime P.S. We DO NOT want brucie anywhere near wor club-: FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

Bruce has more sense than to go to a team destined for relegation next year like you geordie pricks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bruce twice had meeting with NUFC in the past and each time refused to join as manager, Fact
What does that say he's never had some much money , support and a buisness plan as good as this in any of his managerial positions

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland are leading the chase for DJ Campbell according to skysports but as a sunderland fan i don't want him to come as we have signed 2 quality players already yeah it would be nice but i don't think we'll give him regular team football

Believable0 Unbelievable1

We need more than 2 strikers, remember our injury list from last season? the more options the better We still have injured players from the last campaign who may not make it this season even to the bench
Also gives us more options.
