i think its plain to see that mr ellis short doesnt trust bruce with all his cash anymore, you kno and i kno we still need a left back, left winger and 1 more striker. the mags rumour site must of been a very quiet place last week

level heads guys. bruce is an ok manager for wigan birmingham etc who are quite happy to just survive year upon year. according to gig niall we are a gig club with massive ambitions and with shorts billions at the club i actually believe this . the only problem is that bruce is not a big enough manager to take us there. he was a defender and does not have the best tactical brain. i dont think he has enough pulling power either.unless we get a better manager than bruce (any ideas?) we shall plod along surviving (just) in the lower end of the table
please let me be wrong on this

You sound like a little kid who didnt get wot he wanted 4 xmas ! we are 3 games in2 the season and hav drawn 2 of them away from home ! weve signed 11 players , sum of them descent and sum 4 the future give them and bruce time 2 get it rite and show sum support !

Have you just been born or been in a coma for 12 months? we lost 12 on the trot last season mate.we are, in bruces words, struggling to score goals need experienced striker in. as for giving bruce time hes had 3 years and still doesnt know what to do . by the way im in my forties with coaching badges and bruce himself promised us he would bring in class striker. dont shoot messenger mate facts are facts if you not prepared to face up to them then take up knitting or something

In the 3 yrs bruce has been there we hav improved in every 1 of them , as 4 last season we sold bent in january which i dont think we had a choice in , and injuries followed and no team in the prem cud of dealt with them . we hav signed 11 players ,at least give them a chance b4 so called FANS get on thers and the managers back !

Thats what im trying to say my point is we sold bent in jan and still FAILED in 8 months to replace him not good management

Look at newcaastle sold mandy carroll and still haven't got a striker in at least we got bentdner who will do well for us

Bendtnar best ov what was available if it doesnt work he can go back,crouch far to old and expensive,helmes injury prone most his goals scored couple of seasons ago,bellemy and defoe on to big of a wage and plus didnt want to come so why twist their arms with mega money for them to ask for a transfer after a couple of months.cisse (germany) would have missed jan with african cup.that doesnt leave many personnally i would have liked shane long a few weeks ago,but i will give bendtnar a chance.come on safc.

I think he will be alright for you's, and like you say, if he isnt u can give him back as you havent spent a fortune on him, he may of been second (or third) choice but i think a good one, a little gutted that we didnt get him but i am sure we will get over it.

Get real mate. best of what was available!! weve known we need a striker since january and we can only manage to scrape through a loan deal for a player who is average at best. there is something seriously wrong at our club starting with the managers lack of vision. lack of ability and whole round lack of managment skills. we will be in very serious trouble by next transfer window and then nobody will come. here we go again typical safc relegation battle on the cards

Its not like the toon is in much better shape on the striker front is it. u might have him on loan, but in fairness, bot teams were rumoured to be after him before the window shut. im sure if you had spent money on him instead of getting him on loan then he would of been the best thing since brown ale.

Stop the 3 games into the season rubbish. we have needed a experienced striker since JANUARY and hes brought in 2 "for the future" and half a dozen midfielders eight months weve had to scout somebody and all ha can do is go for a 30+ year old who has turned us down before. are you forgetting brighton game when we started without a single striker on pitch. excellent management eh? i am being real unfortunately and foresee a struggle ahead

Can one of these people who is twisting about us not getting an appropriate striker give me the name of just one proven premier league striker that was a realistic option for us! Let's face it-if you buy outside the premier league you could end up with someone who just can't cut it at that level-that calculated risk was taken in whickham. We need someone who doesn't need time to adjust. Bendtner needs games that's all. He was only second choice behind Van Persie-and let's face it who wouldn't be. People forget he's only 23/24. With Larsonn whipping those balls into the box I can definately see him getting goals. Have faith you bunch of whingers
