I think Albrighton from Villa would be a good signing along with Ridgewell from WBA, I think we will cash in on Fletcher, Altidore will stay and hopefully suprise us all next season, would like Sococco to do the same and hopefully we will get Borini, can Whickam continue his performances he had in the last 5 games. I hope so. but all our strikers need to up their game, especially if Borini stays at Liverpool.

Theres not a lot of that I agree with. couldn't think of anything worse than Ridgwell , Albrighton has done nothing to suggest he's good enough for this level, nothing to him apart from a bit of pace. Scocco don't look like he believes himself he can be successful in England and Altidore sadly just can't do it, he tires so quickly and can't play himself into games, will do well somewhere but never in England.

Bridcut / cattermole / Ndaye - do we need all three and if not who should stay?
For me I can't understand why we let Ndaye out on loan - especially after Christmas last year - he is an imposing, strong midfielder in his prime, who can hold his own against anyone. One of my issues with last season was how at times we were bullied on the field by our opponents - an absolute must for me.
I posted at the beginning of last season how I believed cattermole was a liability - how wrong I was! - my reasons for this was based on 2 issues - discipline and lack of goal scoring prowess - and in a team like sunderland we need people to have both attributes - but I now believe we are a far better team when cats is anchoring our midfield.
And here is my issue - I do not doubt the footballing brain of Bridcutt - but I do question his physical size and capability to play as a holding midfielder in the premier league. And if you consider our points tally in games where Bridcutt started and compare it to games he didn't - then you can see our escape this season wasn't indeed a miracle - just a vital piece of team selection.
Bridcutt didn't play in our cup runs - nor was he part of our vital run of form at the end of the season - only returning for our defeat against Swansea.
But I don't believe Bridcutt is a poor footballer - I just believe the changes we make to accommodate him in our side disrupts the rest of the team.
So for me it's two out of three - Ndaye and Catts must stay and Bridcutt should go - though I fear the complete opposite!

Na, course we shouldn't let Bridcutt go, he's clearly a good footballer who needs that time to bed in, but Cattermole was always going to be a better bet for a relegation scrap. With a pre season and even more time for Poyet to get his ideas across I think Bridcutt will be an important player, you only have to look at Vergini to see how quickly things change. Like you I don't understand the N'Diaye situation but i'd rather Poyet had his own players in. I wouldn't get too carried away with Cattermole, despite an outstanding month, still has a lot to prove to me over a whole season.
