Not one of them players will be joining Sunderland for a variety of reasons. Especially those who will be playing Champions league next season. Deluded.

I would just like to say congrats to Newcastle for this season. It's nice to see both north east big clubs fighting near the top end. I still think that you have been lucky in a lot of your games but which club near the top isn't? I think next season will be interesting because we won't have the bad start and hopefully some quality players that give 100% unlike some of the garbage we have playing now who don't even care (bendtner, gardner). Bring on next season! FTM

Have to agree the arrogant geordies have done well, still think they have had more luck and decisions gone their way than most, but will be fun next season getting our top dog status back off them! FTM!

Yeah dont worry lads we will have a good clear out in the summer and hopefully MON will bring in some class from abroad like newcastle have, you cant buy alot of quality in England at the moment but im sure we have great things to come at sunderland but lets try and finish the season strongly and in the top 10
Agree3

You are not in the top end of the table, you are mid table.
Agree4

Find this " clear out " really amusing. wasn't this the squad that was going to finish in the top 6 this season and get you into Europe? Thank you for congratulations though. SMB.

It was bruces squad SGB, O'neill had to inherit it and has made use of what he had and this summer he will have alot of cash to buy players who will take this club forward and get rid of the players who are not performing well enough, the FACT is we still didn't buy a striker who could get us enough goals, we had to settle for a last minute loan in Bentdner, we are top ten geordies, sounds a very bitter mag there, we can give them credit but yet they still can't give us credit and for what O'neill has done basically saving us from relegation after Bruce had lost the plot. Bitter geordies!
Agree2

Give you credit for what yous have did nothing to get credit for..
as for being bitter look at the table daft lad
Agree4

In your BITTER rant back their, you issed the point. I said I find it amusing that at the start of the season with the squad Sir Bruce had put together the Sunderland fans said that the squad would get you in Europe and the top 6. Now you need a good clear out. Just curious to know what happened. Your crystal ball must have be cloudy. SMB

Both northeast clubs fighting at the top end? Sunderland aren't fighting at the top end, their fighting midtable

They are in the bottom half lol

Its defo true that the mags have had a lucky season i really carnt wait till next year when it all sinks in and they go back to where there from, mid table your fat chairman will only weigh your ok players in for a greggs sgb
Agree2

There it is again. LUCK. Lets say this right everyone else in the country think we deserve to be where we are, its only members of the unwashed think its all down to luck.....Why is that. 2 wins in 11 games. I would be more concerned about your team relegation form from the squad you all said would get you into Europe and the top 6. SMB.

Well im safc through and through but i must admit that the T**n have had a fantastic season. Im not bitter enough to say they were lucky in every game as a lot of posters do on here. Excellent scouting and management have them where they are and well deserved. Now at the moment i do not like mon tactics and im hoping its because of the squad he came in to. In the summer we need players with flair who can open up a game,at the moment we have Sess and no-one else. We also need strikers who know where the net is,a complete overhaul required but will he have the funds? I will judge mon on his summer signings and his football next season but will say if he continues with the ''park the bus'' formations then i will go and support Sunderland RCA in the northern league.

I totally understand ye comment but have read a lot on here about mon tactics at the moment. with his stint as manager of other clubs villa wycombe celtic he didn't use these tactics at the moment he is using the players he has to the best of there ability which has dragged us away from almost certain relegation so him and the players should be applauded for the effort they have put in. hopefully mon will be able to bring in some quality for next season to go with some of the squad we have at the moment yes some will leave but hopefully majority will stay and give us a good squad to go forward with so lets all wait and be patient and see how next season goes
Agree1

Well said, in the summer he will get more attacking players and get rid of some of the deadwood in the side and hopefully next season we will have a more attacking side with strikers who can get lots of goals!

Around bardsley, mcclean, catts, sess, kilgallon and migs the rest need a kick up the ass

Sess will DEFO leave and Catts id kick out of the club.
Agree1

We a better team when catts plays, I think he has played well under O'neill, how do you know sess will defo leave? I wouldn't be too sure on that

Lee CAttermole is a terrible player. His game is running around like a headless chicken kicking people. He can't pass a ball 5 yards. Im sorry but you need technical ability to be a prem footballer and he has none.
Agree2

Catt run the show at newcastle till sess got sent off then still had a good game holding the team together under newcastle pressure just think his final ball is poor
Agree1

Cattermong ran the show.. Couldn't run a bath.

Obviously you weren't there or even saw it on t.v he had cabaye and tiote in his back pocket most of the game the only thing from stopping cattermole from being a top player is his final distribution and one thing ye wont get from cattermole that you do with tiote and cabaye is him rolling round the floor crying like a girl he can dish it out and take it.
