How about all you worry after we have played ten matches. I know we need a couple CBs and maybe a CAM but just chill.

Just been on Talksport that Manchester United have confirmed Welbeck can leave if he wants to, but they won't sell him to a rival. Since it's unlikely they see us as rivals for the top 4, Sunderland has been mentioned as a possible destination. Just like we have been with every other available player like Richards, Dawson and Sinclair. Here we go again.

Why not look to Bundesliga for defenders? Many of the German sides bring the ball out of the back as Poyet is trying to do. If there's no one left in England, why not try there? It's a hard tackling, physical league, too, unlike Italy and South American ones. I think that's the biggest hurdle for these foreign players to get used to is the physicality of the PL. Even though the Bundesliga is quite as tough it's better than most others in the world. Am I right or wrong on this?

Yea I thought this and thought we would have been linked to a few players from the bundesliga. If only we had a director of football that had worked over there!

What is happening with Sinclair and Richards? The odds haven't moved for days but not hearing anything that suggests either move is imminent.

Welbeck has been told he can go but us blocked from joining rivals, (arsenal, spurs, Everton etc) and he's already turned down hull so this is basically screaming in our face that we could actually get him (and the fact that we've had him on loan will help)

But…we won't put a bid in knowing us

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree stick a bid in for him up to 14 m, could be a fantastic signing!!literally if gus pulls t the ag a couple defenders and maybe another centre mid that would secure us for another seaso in the to flight and we would be pushing for top half!

Been reading articles and interviews

Welbeck: I loved my time at Sunderland, I got game time and that's where I learned my trade (few months ago)

Poyet:he is a player we are interested in with many other clubs, we haven't made an offer (today)

NEED TO MAKE AN OFFER NOW

Just heard Mohammed salah from chelsea on loan thoughts? I personally think its worth a shot with what I seen of him last season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Welbeck on the left, salah on the right, now that's amazing

Is there no chance we could get Nastasic from City? Big, strong, mobile, young and PL experience. He fits the bill.

Why is it we end up having a fire sale most windows. We're again trying to give away our players. Scocco lost us over £1m, N'Diaye nearly £2m, Graham we ended up paying his wages last season and looks like we can't shift him again this window, so a £4m+ hit there. Then there's Diakite and Cabral who there appears to be no takers for and so it goes on. When other clubs have players that fail they somehow seem to manage to get decent money for them. Take Ben Arfa, I know he's not gone yet but Newcastle are looking at £8-10m for a player they've given up on!

Even Wickham we've got to a place where a club will take him off us for next to nothing!

I think the last player we managed to get anywhere near what we wanted for them was Migs!

Because our past 4 managers (Poyet included) has brought in some sh*t players.

Didn't we get more back for bent? Henderson went for big money. Gyan we broke even. I agree we do let players go on the cheap sometimes but it's not all droom and gloom. We need have faith in the club they pulled off the rodwell deal didn't they? At least were not signing more like diakite and roberge. Gutted we didn't end up with clayton. Good young player

I know someone mentioned a cheeky bid for Khedira and I know every sane (or as sane as we can be) fan laughed and said '******* no chance of that' but apparently Utd and the gunners are trying to sign him for around 12m which seems a ridiculously low price for an international and player of his calibre. However if it is true, I say we bust the bank a little for that as that would be a fantastic signing and while expensive it would be a huge step up. Unlikely, but if they sign him for around that 10-20 mil mark then we probably could've competed for that and hopefully they won't start a bidding war. Wages aswell and if the player wants to come but you ain't getting anywhere without at least trying so I say full steam ahead. Ha'way the lads!

Have you been drinking mercury recently? Or are you just totally mental?

I can forgive you if you are 8 years old
But my God, what are you smoking

I feel his wage, his footballing ability, his ego the fact he's a worldcup winner and champo league winner he might just say. maybe?

Borini deal looks to be over now, rumours starting to circulate that Rafa Benitez is set to lure him to Napoli on a season long loan with option to buy, back to his native Italy and they are in the Champions League Qualifier. Good luck to the lad if its true but still a shame though

If Poyet wastes £14m on Borini and does not get a CH because of this, he will, in my mind, be as guilty as Di Canio in his judgement of players and team structure. I accept he worked wonders last season to keep us up but he surely realises that, on the performance at WBA we will have problems at the back. His priority should be a strong, big, mobile CH. We do need someone from midfield to create and score goals, but good teams are always built on strong defences. For Man. U. Game they must put Pantilmon in goal and Brown/Oshea at CH then build from there.

As soon as the West Brom game finished everyone realised we needed a centre back in straight away, it has been a week and we haven't even been linked to one never mind sign one before the next match (tomorrow) whereas Manchester United had the same problem, they fixed it and brought in that Rojo in a day later
Howay man!
