signings of larson and westwood been confirmed

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Woo hoo big money spent here bring back 2005 to 2006 season 15points if it was, nt for derby you would still be KINGS ha HA 19 a couple of seasons before than small club in durham . .

Agree0 Disagree0

And yous have spent how much on 3 froggies ! !? lets just wait and see before you start spouting off ! ! they are good signings actually thicko just on bosmans !

Agree0 Disagree0

Larsson would of cost between 7-8m and Westwood 4m so think it's good business getting them on a free

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted the origional message informing that the deals were done and would just like to point out im a mag so therfore the mag who decided to spout off at me or my message was utter crap! but on the other hand there is no way larsson was ever worth 7 or 8 million. more 3 to 4 but westwood has got real potential to be a top keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Larsson would be, Birmingham are wanting 14m for Johnson so I'm sure they would of wanted at least 7-8m for Larsson, he aint worth that but the prices clubs put on their players these days. Mandy Carroll for example 35m for that lanky greasy git

sunderland favoured to sign n'zogbia
10.5 million

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Wheres this from ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wigan wanting 12m mate, the way it's going don't think we will sign unless bruce puts a 12m bid in

Agree0 Disagree0

If nzogbia cost 12 mill and 60k a week his a bad signing. but why all this talk of 12mill when wigan accepted 9 mill off birmingham in january when in relegation fight only his wages stopping deal money grabber beware

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jun 2011 19:33:58
good deals for sunderland today westwood best goalkeeper in the championship last year for free. larsson a player who if still in contract at birmingham would have commanded a fee of 6 to 8 mill for free. young and exciting lad ji dong-won for 2 mill could be anything. hopefully connor whickham who at 18 been touted as best young striker in england. lets hope we can also wrap up the deal for gibson and would like to see o'shea at the sol think he will stay at man utd good times ahead squad looking better already

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Nice to hear an upbeat sunderland supporter ! some come on here and whinge about not signing players and when we do you don't hear a peep off them ( there probably on the mags site slagging them off ) . i agree 3 good signings for 2million ! but i don't think we hav started yet quinn said himself that the big signings wouldn't be coming until july/august !

Agree0 Disagree0

Definately and in quinn we believe but don't think we will know who we gonna sign on big deals until they done mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Larsson worth 6-8 million, ha ha ha ha! Brilliant! What, that wasn't a joke. . . .are you serious.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt be bothered about that as long as they are quality ! can't believe we have made 3 decent signings and hardly a word on here ! no wonder the mags slag us off ! just cannot please some ppl ! keep the faith .

Will all you mag fans stop posting stupid rumours and stick to your own club site firstly Gyan has already said he is going nowhere and as for the person who says 3in4out Bruce has already said he expects 8or9 new faces in with only Bit part players leaving unless we get offered stupid money such as the Henderson deal the only team cutting the wage bill is the mags ie Nolan already gone and Barton maybe following along with carrol who went in jan three of you best players last season and who have you brought in two players with suspect injuries so keep your petty thoughts to yourself and stick to your own club or are you that desperate to see what the top northeast club is doing if your that botthered why not come and see a recur game next year

look person bigger crowds prove tthat when things are not going write for us we still turn up in thousands to support the team we love that's why you part timers stop going and quinny goes on radio saying he his sick as fans are dropping facts don't lie we are an average premiership team as are you but we have more fans get a lifa and jog on and look at the FACTS

Believable0 Unbelievable0

LIFA should be spelt LIFE, back to school you geordie numbskull, your letting your fans down talking utter rubbish, but to be fair most screwcastle fans talk rubbish. wow you get bigger crowds, does that mean you finished ahead of us in the league for the past 3 seasons? NO! does that 5-1 win mean you finished ahead of us in the league?NO! just face your banter is getting worse, you have no good krak you geordie's and are a set of big babies. now bugger off and leave the top dogs in peace. SGB

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason yous get bigger crowds is because most of your ticket holders are tied into a 3 year scheme ! down at my local mags can't even give them away but they are still counted in your attendance! ! fact is im not bothered about size of crowds as long as im there 2 watch my team !

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason we get bigger crowds person is not because we are tied in we can allways do what the makems do and tout the local offering free tickets Tick head and congrats 3 years in 20 you, ve beat us league table what an achievment ha ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop dwelling on the past mate its all about what happens this season not last ! ! looks like we have made 3 decent players and that's just the start watch this space ! !

hope theres some truth in the reports that we hav got wong don looks like hes got all the attributes to do well in the premiership ! am not saying hes the finished article but hes good in the air , fast and hes a big lad ! ( before yous mags say anything go and hav a look on youtube ! )

Gyan does not want to leave?
So why are his agents punting him around Europe?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They weren't it was sad geordies making the rumours up, as one has put on our banter page he is going coz we lack ambition, these deluded geordie muppets must have nothing better to do as they know their team is selling its best players and will be fighting off relegation next season. 1 word springs to mind jealous! not much money to spend and they spitting their dummies out as usual. they that thick they don't understand what Gyan meant when he said he is not leaving sunderland, he loves the fans, the club and doesn't care about these rumours linking him away. wish the SGB'S would leave the top dogs alone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish people would stop banging on about Gyan leaving, not gonna happen. He's said he wants to stay. Larsson, not a bad signing, quality from a dead ball

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just a sign of desperation from the mags they have ran out of things to say to us

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha ha makems now getting 2 free transfers at least us mags no the fat controller spending nowt you lot are delusioned as your the same bruce getting nowt either no big signings at all so be honest we all getting cast offs

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny putting a 8m bid in for an 18 year kid doesn't lack ambition, we have the money and we are signing 2 lads who would cost alot of money if they were not free, Larsson who Arsenal were after would be at least 7-8m and Westwood who Everton were after would be at least 4m. so that is 11-12m + saved on to free transfers. good business if your a mackem. SGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you telling me that arsenal wanted larsson but he came to you are you serious if wenger wanted him he would not of even spoke to you at all that was paper talk

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously with you bein a mag you no evrything ! ! all we do no is that he turned yous down and came 2 us now don't lets get jealous ! !

Agree0 Disagree0

You can have him mate. We were supposedly interested in Jan, but practically everyone was saying he has s**t, and he was no where near good enough. I don't think we'll lose any sleep over you lot signing him.

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason he didn't go to arsenal is he would be a squad player, at sunderland he will be a starting 11 player. he is a quality set piece taker and can score goals. good signing for sunderland and better he turned Screwcastle down. smart lad!sgb

Carrol said the same as gyans saying so ur losing him - Nathan O

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Carroll didn't say the same as gyan ! carroll was pushed out because the fat controller wanted the cash ! when are yous mugs going 2 realise that gyan is staying ! get on with your own business and keep your nose out of ours ! ! do yous not realise what the fat controller is doing hes selling all your experienced premiership players who are on decent wages and replacing them with froggies who have only played in french league which is nowhere as good as the prem ! wake up and smell the roses mate ! !

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a mag and don't think gyan will go and don't think he should! he looks a good player and possibly the best player you have so for one the board wouldn't dare and also selling him would be business suicide!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said mate ! nice 2 hear off a mag with a bit common sense !

Agree0 Disagree0

I post on both site as with me being from the north east i hear rumours off both sides. i am a mag fan but have a lot of safc supporting friends so don't buy into this slag each other off blindly thing! glad you think i have common sense cos the post seemed appropriate and to be honest is truthful and not designed to offend either set of fans

Denba Ba 75 goals in 137 games, FREE, Gyan 60 goals in 186 games, 13m ! ! ! Who are the mugs?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

GYAN - ballon d'or nominee top 23 players in the world scored goals in 2 world cups. BA- the latest rock you idiots have bought. Ask any other person in the country who knows the slightest thing about football who they wud rather have in their team. GYAN everytime. MUG

Agree0 Disagree0

But ask any board or club financial advisor which make sense the most! ba who cost nothing so balancing the books to keep club outa the red and in line with new financial rules and showed he can score or untried lad who cost 13 million.( yes gyan went on to score a few goals but not that flash after bent dumped safc)

Agree0 Disagree0

Gyan - Scumderland MAIN striker 13m, 10 prem goals in 31 games, Ba- free transfer 7 prem goals in 12 games , muckem muppets

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't have 2 balance your books 4 another 3 years and by that time you won't have a problem because with all the froggies you are buying yous will have the biggest crowds in the championship !

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong again lad! the new rules will be introduced gradually over the next 3 years and first round of changes come into force this coming season. all clubs have to declare all spendings and incoming monies to fifa and have to fall into line when measured on an average over the said 3 years so therefore it is right to start balancing the books and keeping a business ahead of the red line so that way in the long run a club can invest heavier in later stages if needed. the groundwork being done at nufc is solid financial business and not heavy risky gambling so if we do have the missfortune of dropping a league then we arent in financial stress like safc may find themselves by keeping school kids happy in half empty ground!

Agree0 Disagree0

Championship club with bigger attendance than premiership club? thatll never happen will it?. . .oh yeah i forgot we did have bigger than you lot when we were in championship didn't we?

Agree0 Disagree0

I said championship didn't mention premiership ! and if your happy just having bigger crowds it shows how sad you are ! going back 2 the sensible conversation above : i stand corrected makes you wonder how the likes of chelsea and man city are going 2 cope with all the big signings they are supposedly going 2 be making !

Agree0 Disagree0

To all mags posting on this topic why ye all slagging big mike down if all his doing is bringing ye club into line financally ye should be praising him the guy has had no money from season ticket the last 3 years because of the crooks who ran ye club before him tying all ye daft lads into buying ye season tickets for 3 years big mike is doing a good job just like quinn and short are doing after all the s**te brought in by roy keane and put on big wages players like mvoto who was released this year after a hand full of games and getting silly money the same can also said about the smogs down the road and strachan gibson now realising where he went wrong i think north east football is in the best shape it has been for years and can only improve over the next few years if the fans get behind the club and there managers 3 good managers although i myself didn't want bruce at sol saw some of the good work he did last year and with a bit more luck on the injury front could have been challenging for a top six spot. how many mags were calling for big mikes head when he replaced houghton with pardew he has done a good job tries to play entertaining football and has got the most critical fans on his side as for mowbray his task will be more easier when he gets rid of half the s**te brought in by strachan but his job will take a while longer as he has no money and needs to depend on youth also not to miss out on hartlepool in ticing someone like solano to the club and are in running for lua lua who would have thought that also darlo for going to wembley with a new built side and winning the cup and hopefully promotion next year and finally whitley bay for a brilliant achievement times are looking up for north east football and by reading the common sense articles on here the rivalry is still there good luck to all clubs but most of all to the one i love the most safc

Agree0 Disagree0

Some brilliant points there mate nice to have a bit of decent banter without any expletives ! yes i would also like to see all north east teams do well as long as some do better than others ! it will be interesting to see how far ashley goes to get the financial balance right because theres a fine line between running your business correctly and trying to re-coup your losses !

Agree0 Disagree0

I wrote the post mate and think that ashleys been badly advised in the past with the likes of wise but also did himself no favours sitting among the fans and trying to act like them think that was the reason of the return of kk to please the fans he could do with someone alongside him like short has in quinn who whatever happens to our club we can never question his love for sunderland afc a true legend who will live long in the memory of our club

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes definately the best thing that has happened to sunderland in my lifetime just wish he could get us to where he obviously thinks we should be (challenging in europe with a full ground ) because i think he more than deserves it ! i would like to see all north east teams do well but it wouldn't pain me too much if the mags struggled a bit now and again just to keep them in their place !

Gyan is on his way this summer, Stoke look likely to sign him for around £7m + Sidibie.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

What part of Gyan saying I am not leaving Sunderland do you not understand? why would he go to worse team like stoke anyway and why would sunderland accept 7m plus some s**te, it would take at least 25m and a player to sell him, which we won't. you must be a geordie trying to stir rubbish. get a life moron
