Outclassed and outplayed in midfield again- increasingly clear that O'Neill had no transfer strategy beyond signing Fletcher. He seems to have no idea what a premier league midfielder or centre backs looks like, and his teams are shapeless with no creativity, no tactics and no leadership. Is that one win in eighteen now? Relegation struggle looking more likely every week- and the quality of football played so far flattered by the results. This group of players is poorly organised, lacking in fitness and shows little spirit.

What a load of rubbish! Not well organised! Thats the best i have seen safc defend set pieces in years and lack of spirit? Our players were throwing themselves in to block shots in the box and battled really hard. I will admit we have been below par going forward but for the first time in years we are well organised and hard to beat. So give oniell a chance to get the attack working as we still have adam johnson to get fit. In oniell i trust

Keep calm mate. 4 games in and it's doom and gloom no faith just like in the transfer window. Look at Southampton, lost their first 4 then burst into life. Mon knows what he is doing and is a class manager. Safc93

Listen when you are missing a player the quality of aj its always going to be hard. So far we have not lost in four tough games, Upton park is gonna be a tough place for anyone to go this year. If you add on three points which we most likely would have won against reading we would be in a great position. I think we will know where we are alot more after next weekends visit from Wigan. Less than three points from that one and I may agree with you but to start stating we are in a relegation battle already seems a bit premature. Lm86

P.S magic mackems up to fourth, haway the lads

What's everyone moaning about? We are unbeatable our goal difference is great I can't ever remember having a better defence than the one we have now it's great quit your winging and get behind them and mon

Agree2 Disagree3

If we are in this position at christmas fair enough but we need the team to gel give MON more time !

Agree2 Disagree1

Hopefully bardos back soon to combine with aj,then move gardner back to midfield, gardner is more attack minded than jc.tk73

Agree2 Disagree2

I think we will struggle for goals from midfield as cattermole(who had a great game) and colback are too negative(possibly too much alike).Whilst we are strong defensively we lack someone in the middle to get into the opponents box(unlike nolan who was never out of ours)

Wot thef**k is goin on with our side, the midfield are just nonentities, thats 4 games weve been comprehensively outplayed, weve got nothin to attack with, mcclean is poor, sess is worse and colback might as well play in defence,if it wasnt for fletcher wed be bottom.tk73

Agree5 Disagree0

Once again Nolan scared the full team sh**less. After a goal on 9 mins, formation went 9-0-1. Marty ( anti-football) O`neil stuck in the past.

Agree4 Disagree1

Again for the 4th time we were dominated in a game we should have won...Vaughn should have been on from the start and we cant rely on Fletcher alone sign Mcfadden up for the rest of season.. action needed MON !

Agree3 Disagree3

At least we are unbeaten this season !!

Agree3 Disagree3

MON need sto take action and drop Mclean and Sess for the next couple games !..where was our midfield again ! we were over run !

Agree3 Disagree0

The worriing thing is that MON rates Bramble !..thats a recipe for disaster

Agree2 Disagree4

Bramble had a cracking game yesterday, its too easy to lay blame at his feet. Has evryone forgotten we have three important players out injured, aj, Cuellar and brown? All things considered I am positive about the start we have made, Fletcher has hit the ground running and when we get aj back we should be a force going forward. The main negative to come out of yesterday was seeing fraz limp off. Lm86

Agree2 Disagree1

Sorry id play Killgallon ahead of Bramble anyday..Bramble is a liability !
