Might be a stupid question but I was wondering if someone on here could tell me what the role of a performance director is?

{Ed001's Note - it will depend on the company he is employed by, each one will have slightly different ideas. In broad terms he will be taking the role of a director of football, possibly without the remit to find and recruit players. Again though it would depend on the club in question though.}
