On twitter there is a picture of Wesley sneijder holding a sunderland top with some lads possibility I know he will probably want champions league football and high wages but just thought I would say summer

We would have more chance of getting Wesley snipes or Wesley sneijeer on the pitch than Wesley brown.

When everyone goes on about a play maker in cm why not go for ganso Brazilian class player and young it's not a rumour but what is everyone else think about it?

Go on Fraizer lad. Shame we couldn't afford to give him longer. He is heart and soul a football player. Think Paulp would have liked him. Glad to see him doing well nyway!

well I only thought the mags had deluded fans yet reading a few posts on here I now know we have our own fair share. I can't understand what some are expecting 2 games in and the deluded ones are moaning players not good enough we should be going to Southampton and beating sides like them this a team that has spent nearly 30 mill on 2 players and finished above us last season and have the same aspirations as ourselves. what is going on at our club is a massive overhaul and if we can stay up which I have no doubt we will and hopefully push for a top half finish with a couple of good cup runs I will be happy with that. coming out of the game last week I was wondering how have we got beat but was happy with the overall play and although only seeing highlights on motd and reading reports in the paper was happy with the result something shared by pdc post match comments grateful for a point as Southampton were the better side nice to have a manager who says it how he sees it. if the deluded on here want to stay like that then I recommend you change your team and follow the mags as you would fit in well with their manager who said after their game yesterday they should have won the game this from a team who playing at home never had one shot on target and who's fans came on here ridiculing us for losing to a Fulham side who at least did have an effort on target. now after following sunderland for over 40 years and seen numerous ups and downs of our club, visiting over 60 grounds on my journeys I have never become deluded sometimes disillusioned but my love of sunderland football club has never changed and I doubt never will so if you can't take the good with the bad and there has been a lot more bad. I think the deluded are not a proper football fan and if all you deluded ones are after is glory you should start supporting someone like Manchester utd.

Mag here, in peace but i'm prepared to get shredded anyway, we've both had pretty horrendous starts, although it pains me to say I can see light at the end of your tunnel because at least you've made efforts to fix it. It's pretty worrying though I'd say we both have a pretty good chance of relegation, which would be a travesty in my opinion. Anyway wish u all the luck for the season, we both need it! And let's try stop all this 'my daddy is bigger than your daddy' crack because it's honestly doing my nut. Peace

Nice one mate, nice to have a genuine mag on for a change! I would say that I disagree with us having a bad start, we were excellent against fulham and played well yesterday. It bodes well for the season imo. However I would say you guys have had a horrible start but then that's hardly suprising given the management and owners are trying to get you relegated. I hope you guys stay up ( though some of your fans deserve a relegation) as
Wear/tyne derbies are the best in the premiership ( horse punching aside ;-))

Personally I think we are playing better football but last two results havn't been exactly what we wanted and we went down against Southampton as we have done so many times in the past to a late equaliser.
but to be honest I believe it will come and I do believe we will stay up I hope we are comfortable in that and I am not aspiring to a top ten finish if we finish above the mags I will be happy onward and upward give pdc some time to build let's not get shot of him overnight

any news on why cabral didn't play? injury?
