O Neil has turned down Leicster and His own Northern Ireland. He is keeping the way clear to join SAFC next season or if and when we finally sack SB.
Belieive what you want but tentitave talks did take place between the club and o neil when SB was on biusiness out of the country with Short and Quinn in the far east. SB was taken on that trip as a smoke screen, he himself has decided he would like to make this his last season with SAFC.

He has a clause writtern into his contract with a list of certain jobs he would be able to leave any club for.

What contract? He is not working

The clause would be wrote in to any contract that O Neil may sign, if he goes to Leicester?
The situation would be short term, basically a caretakers role to get Leicester into a promotion or play off position.
I doubt he will go to leicester however. Its my understanding that talks had started with SAFC, only preliminary up to now with both O'Neil and SAFC having agreed in principle to the preconditions of a O'Neil management deal and are now watching the following scenarios before moving to completion.
a) either a further slip in SAFC performances. A points/games ratio has been targeted and if not reached then the following will happen.
b) SB resignation or dismissal.
c) My understanding is that SB will leave regardless at the end of this season or if or when SAFC are mathmatically safe . leaving O'Neil to come in and build his team in the close season.
