Just read that Di Canio has said he wants Rose and is a brilliant professional
That strikes me that we will try to get Rose

SIDE NOTE: Di Canio will have sufficient funds to spend on players (I think it's around what O'Neill spent) as well as money from sales such as Migs and Sess (around 20m)

What about the TV money aswell!

Sky are reporting we have agreed a fee for Benjamin Mendy. Don't think we will be getting Rose now.

Silly Newcastle fan. no sunderland fans are worried about their club at the moment in fact everyone is buzzing, by some of the names linked with the club things have never been so interesting pre season. as for fans worried about their club I think you need to take a look at the shambles going on at Newcastle your own fans talking about boycotting games and merchandise. fans not being happy with the transfer targets being mentioned bent Tompkins plus the possible sale of some of your best players cabaye ben arfa their is only one set of fans worried and they play in black and white.

Whilst at Inter last season Angeloni Intensively scouted three Argentinian players. Gino Peruzzi (RB) Facundo Ferreryra (CF) and Ezequiel Cirigliano (CM) So would expect SAFC to be now looking to buy these players.

Forster has stated he wants to play Champions league football and will stay at Celtic
Celtic if they do decide to cash in, and as he has 3 yrs left on contract, the rumour is that his valuation is 5-6 million as Celtic want top dollar for their assets and won't sell cheaply, as its a club that is cash rich and does not need to sell

I guarantee if we had finished in the top half of the table Migs would still be at our club. If we ever want to keep our top class players then the club needs to change. And that is exactly what PDC is doing. Its a risk but its a risk worth taking. If O Neil was still here we'd be in the championship, but now we can just hope our season is a corker. If not, then i'm glad our chairman gave it a go.

Afer the debacle of last season we badly needed a big change in personell I just hope PDC gets the balance right!
