Has anyone checked out the Pfa premier league team of the year goalkeeper de gea this is not the same keeper that was dropped repeatedly at the start of the season, get real mignolet has been the best but I could have accepted begovic just go's to show if your not in the spotlight then you will not get your reward's I hope this does not encourage mignolet to look elsewhere {Ed003's Note - I agree}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree, typical PFA rubbish again! Mignolet by far the best keeper this season. {Ed024's Note - De Gea .....nowhere near the top 3 I'd have Migs, Begovic and Hart ahead of him, maybe Cech and Jaaskelainen as well. Just goes to confirm the average intelligence of a footballer ...if in doubt say Manchester United}

Agree0 Disagree0

De gea has the best shot stop stats that why. {Ed024's Note - but also the best defence to protect him}

Agree0 Disagree0

Mignolet has done the best with what he's got. I would put him second though behind Begovic. World class saves, Migs a very close second and De Gea third IMO. Jaaskelainen as been so so but mostly very solid.

There is a strong possibility of finishing top ten
4 points behind with a game in hand, stoke and Southampton at home a certainly winnable

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Tomorrow night is a huge test. They will be fighting for their lives, quite rightly so, being fully aware of their predicament unlike our neighbours who seem to be in some kind of deluded trance.
Win, and I wholeheartedly agree with you ; such are the margins this season and such is the importance of goal difference at the bottom.

Agree0 Disagree0

The way we're playing our next 3 are winnable. I've never known the league to be as tight as this. Safc93

Agree0 Disagree0

Even if we were properly safe, Di Canio will still make the players give it their all
That's the way it's done

Agree0 Disagree0

Quite so

Agree0 Disagree0

We aren't safe until it is mathematically possible that we can not go down. That is always in the back of my head, let's not get carried away here, but I mean by all means why not dream of 10th? It would be a great finish seeing as how the season has gone.

do you think the mags will want us to win tomorrow (against villa)bet there's quite a few shouting for us to do them a favour iam torn my head says need a win to make sure of safety but I would love the mags to go down, by the way pardew looks a broken man!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Get beat tomorrow and let's see if your still banging your drum. We are on the same points. Your just as much in the as we are.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather have stoke and Southampton at home than West Ham United and qpr at away plus the villa game is a game in hand now and we have a massive goal difference advantage so I would rather be in our situation than Newcastle.

Agree0 Disagree0

See yas are still banging yours lol better than everyone else still even after yesterdays keystone cops episode wake up and smell the coffee

Agree0 Disagree0

No one is saying that, we are better than anyone or is reading not your strong point. Or maybe talk s*** is.

Agree0 Disagree0

Again still beating your drum and still missing the point. We are still on the same points and you are still in the same situation as we are. Get beat tomorrow and see if your new found confidence holds.

Agree0 Disagree0

What coffee? I am simple saying your in the same situation as we are. The way you are rejoicing when you are in the same situation is very premature. But then again every time you get a new boss a new dawn breaks for you lot.

Agree0 Disagree0

We are rejoicing, as you put it, because you were slaughtered yesterday, and we slaughtered you last week. Can you understand that or not.?

Agree0 Disagree0

I understand that. But the original post is nothing to do with that can you get your head of marbles round that. Regardless of slaughtering you are on the same points and in the same danger of relegation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Simple enough would you rather be in your position with the games left to play or in sunderlands with their games. now we all know both teams are still in the sh**e but we are feeling a lot more confident than what we were. with pdc in charge I can see good times ahead if we had mon then we would have been the favs to fill that 3rd bottom position.

Looks like we are safe of keeping Migs for a while because arsenal have cooled their interest and are now going for Hamburg's Adler
