steve bruce's future looking a bit shaky after showdown talks with the board about transfer targets. the board are only looking at 3m rated players maximum and free transfers due to the lack of funds because of poor attendances and only reciving 7 mil for bent. steve bruce is unhappy with the board for not investing but sunderland have spent over 60m in 5 years on average players.

We have a joke of an owner thatwill not spend enough money. A joke of a chairman who is always saying we are rubbish fans, a geordie manager who is doing his best to ruin us, and our team is s**t.

funny how sunderland have only been linked with free tarnsfers. only players who they have been linked with who are not free agents is dj cambell who is 1m not very expensive, and nzogbia but that it bulls**t because he is going to newcatsle.niall quin also said on radio that they will not be signing anyone till august. this is because the free agents will need a signing on fee before august and after it requires no signing on fee or it is allot less.so that shows you that sunderland have no money to spend.
