The problem is not Dick or Congerton. It's the players. Again. Still. The United game saw more possession turnovers than a tennis match. That is not the fault of the manager or the system. The formation might not be the right one, but they should at least get it to the player they're passing to.
Coates is horrible. His vision of the game is piss-poor and he always seems surprised by what is going on. DA should just have him stand next to one of the goalposts. He might actually stop a goal there.
PVA is the same. Not nearly defensive enough for what we need. Push him to wing-back. I think he would do well there. And just to keep this negativity going: Does anyone else see Lens getting a bit greedy? I've seen more than a few times he should have passed it rather than getting caught in possession or taking a wild shot. Just my opinion though.

agree about your post on the players but you also have to look at dick he knows the players are not good enough yet he still picks them and as I said in a post in june, he was the wrong man for the job as he has a track record of not giving youth a chance.
as for not blaming congerton he is the one who has either brought in or sanctioned the players we have had at the club if you can call them players also I was reading that dick didn't have a say on some of the players brought in i.e adams and borini so maybe congerton is a big problem that needs to go.

Dick also persists with 4 3 3 but we don't have the playing staff to work that system.

Agree Bobby k 4-3-3 works when you have the quality players and we don't! simple as that! agree Gary Congerton needs to go!
