with goal keeper situation I would like to take Gordon back as number 2 and if westwood can't hack it we would have someone decent to fall back on and obviously we would get Gordon back on less wages than he was on

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Westwood will hack it mark my words, a good replacement for migs

Agree0 Disagree0

Still be good to have Gordon back though, like the lad said, as a number 2

Agree0 Disagree0

Gordon number 2 no chance we are signing that reserve keeper from Arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Mannone is a good keeper, just because he is number 3 at a big club doesn't make him a bad player he was number 1 earlier in the season.

If he was number 3 at say Scunthorpe fair enough but he's a number 3 at a top 4 side.

I have spoke to workmates of mine in London and they rate him, saying he's a world class shot stopper but he can be inconsistant and arsenal can't give him the run of games he needs.

He will be a good signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Mannone deal looks done, so why talk about Gordon, been here, now gone. end of.

Agree0 Disagree0

Put the original post on about Gordon and you still get people coming on saying the manone deal is in the bag. is this like the rumours ot the other players we have got in the bag until the dea; is done and signed we don't have manone or any of the other players getting mentioned on here believe it when they sign on that dotted line

Tired of reading about the risk and the increased chance of relegation next season. The papers have never had anything positive to say about us and never will. Really does frustrate me. When the mags bought all their French flops I didn't see the journos ripping into their transfer policy. Well all I can say is ha'way the lads let's prove these pessimistic fools wrong.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We were buying the best players from Ligue 1 which is in the top 6 leagues in Europe.

You are not buying quality, the criticism of buying squad padding is rightly justified.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol the best players from league 1 is that how they nearly took you, s down, did it not occur to you that no other team wanted them they have used your wee team as a stepping stone, watch july cabab gone benafra gone cisse gone, debuchy tottaly overrated after 2 good games in the world cup, worry about your own poor squad, you will be bottom 3 by october.

Agree0 Disagree0

A. C Milan and Arsenal wanted Mbiwa.

Top clubs were after Sissoko so we got him over the line instead of waiting to get him on a free. A. C, Tottenham etc.

Inter Milan wanted Debuchy, amongst others.

Who did you battle to get Diakite, Cabral & Ba? lol touche!

Agree0 Disagree0

There you go with your crystal ball again. Telling us all of our players are leaving. Its the same spew every season with you lot. Thing is non of them have left. If we are wee what does that make you? Bottom 3 for us, where will you be?

Agree0 Disagree0

Above you

Agree0 Disagree0

Wat u mackems don't understand is when u bring in players in the window wif no prem league experience its not as easy as it would be if they were brought in this window your basically expected to adjust straight away so sayin our signings almost brought us doon is total rubbish not many players can adjust straight away

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet them BIG clubs are laughing now they had a lucky escape, Mbiwa is no better than bramble, Sissoko was a two game wonder, debuchy is garbage.

Agree0 Disagree0

If arsenal, ac milan ect wanted mbiwa then he would of gone to one of them, SGBS giving it their all and failing again! enjoy the big relegation battle you have with Palace, Hull and Villa next season! Abit of g0rdi3 jealousy I think

Agree0 Disagree0

Somewhere above you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal and A. C Milan were after Mbiywa but I remember them both pulling out, and then you were the only club after him.
No top clubs were after Sissoko?

Agree0 Disagree0

Mbiwa was the captain of Montpellier and drove them to the Ligue 1 title.

Saying Mbiwa is no better than Bramble is just being absurd.

Mbiwa is immense.

Agree0 Disagree0

Above us? What like last season and the season before that. Your crystal ball must be cloudy Jeez. Take another look and tell me when these stars signings are arriving you lot keep banging on about. {Ed024's Note - I don't think either club can take much pride from last season - the important thing is to do something about it. I 'll ask the obvious question - what are you doing ?????}

Agree0 Disagree0

U can't can't judge a player on a second season time will tell you lot just stick to signing your freebies LALAS {Ed024's Note - Did you mean LALAS or CLUELESS}

Agree0 Disagree0

Mbiwa wasn't immense in the derby he should of been substituted after ten minutes he was woefull.
He couldn't cope with Sunderlands attacks and he is poor without collocini carrying him.
OK that's only one game but every time I have seen him he's no better than bramble.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mbiwa really looked awsome in the derby didn't he. noooooo

Agree0 Disagree0

Mbiwa looks like a nutter could get sent off a lot and the deluded g0rdi3s try and take the mick? haha as the ed said what are you lot doing in the transfer window? apart from apointing JOEKINNEAR! HA SGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

Mbiwa is mediocre to say the least ben sick note arfa has potential he will never fulfil at sid james
sissoko is exactly what someone wrote above a 2 game wonder rubbish after those 2 games debuchy and santon vastly over rated played in a defence which nearly shipped in 70 goals say no more about those 2
then you have the world class tiote playing in front of that defence what a job he did as a defensive midfielder absolutely crap
cabaye looks a good player but only does it 1 in maybe 4 games
goufran can't comment because the lad doesn't know where he is playing is he a forward a winger a midfielder the lad is so confused with pardew cisse will score goals in a decent side only problem he ain't in one.
fringe players.
marveux can't get a game for Jonas say no more
anita similar to tiote who had a crap season but anita still not seen as good enough to replace him league 1 class
amalfitano, haidara, bigiramana, vuckic, Curtis good or was that bad and finally the fans favourite Gabriel obertan
seems like the crew from carry on camel that classic foreign legion film

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a banter page Ed. I don't see the problem. If I/we didn't come on they would be very little banter anyway, plenty of Sunderland fans on our page. {Ed024's Note - There is no problem, don't blame you for coming on to our page - bit boring on yours}

I think too many young players coming in and no premiership experience it may be a long season. Think PDC is taking a risk if it comes off hats off to him but I'm thinking another relegation battle this season sorry lads just my opinion with what we have brought in so far

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Go get a full glass.

Agree0 Disagree0

See the bigger picture. Building blocks for the future. More experienced players will be signing for sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed

Agree0 Disagree0

He knows who he should buy and who he thinks will do the job for the team and the fans

Agree0 Disagree0

There isn't much point building for the future if you are in trouble in the now.

You don't start building a swimming pool and a garage when your house is falling down.

You need quality players that can go straight into the team next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

The window is just opening, not closing for 10 weeks or so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Players like Larsson gardener Johnson o'shea fletcher graham brown colback will be kept and all have premiership experience some of these players will come in to play around those mentioned to gain experiance

Agree0 Disagree0

You need plans to build your house! you don't seem to grasp how big a transformation is taking place. Like I said experience will surely be signed.
