I wrote on this site about 4 weeks ago that Adam Johnson is comin to safc and all you sgb were sayin he was a mag haha. Well like a said before spoke to his family and it's more like 90% that he will be at safc next season either on loan or sale.

Believable6 Unbelievable10

Hope your right mate, would be brilliant for us

Agree3 Disagree1

If true you are his 3rd choice with newcastle his 1st and spurs 2nd..

so dont get ahead of yourself ..

plus the lad is a bad egg good footballer bad attitude.do we really need a player like that,he enjoys the party life so i doubt the toon would be in for him plus he must be on big wages..i reckon he will end up at spurs..

Agree4 Disagree4

He supports both Sunderland and Newcastle...

Agree4 Disagree4

I laugh at people who say he supports newcastle why would he do that when he is born and brought up in sunderland
hes a sunderland fan FACT

Agree5 Disagree7

Why i thought the toon liked party goers like simpson shola and sammy coloccini?

Agree2 Disagree4

You should never put comments like this on as you will 99.99% look silly. Especially in this case. As far as I aware he is considering his future nothing more so your 90% is a very optimistic.

Agree5 Disagree3

He was quoted in the northern echo last week that him and his family are life long sunderland fans so i would say we would be his first choice but where agents are concerned he could end up at spurs or anywhere

Agree3 Disagree2

Hes not a sunderland.
all you have to do is google it..

Agree0 Disagree5

Shola a party goer u need to get a grip the lad barely goes out...just because he likes nufc does not mean he would not play for sunderland....look at lee clark, micheal chopra etc....

Agree1 Disagree1

Sunderland need city to pay half his wages which is roughly 40k a week first and formost

Agree1 Disagree1

I no wat am talkin about I see his mam and sister every otherday

Agree2 Disagree0

Simmo and colo are family men

Agree2 Disagree2

I laugh at people who know nothing about football. Adam Johnson confirmed in a post match interview (after he scored the winner at SOS) that although all of his family were from Sunderland, he in fact supported Newcastle. End of argument SMB!

Agree3 Disagree5

Yes very silly I was talking too him where he lives about 6 doors away from me and yes he is a Newcastle fan also he said he won't be going to either teams but if he did it would be the toon.

Agree1 Disagree4

Grew up in sunderland..you actually know nowt he lived in easington village thats 6 miles from sunderland...did you know he played for the toon but we released him.....

Agree2 Disagree4

A went to school with the lad and believe me he is a Sunderland fan and the rest of them are mags not that am bothered like. If he goes to safc or Nufc doesn't matter one bit your all goin on if he's the next messi but anyway he is a Mackem

Agree3 Disagree2

Haha, his FAMILY are makems... but he used his brain and chose newcastle, hence as he said in the paper a while ago. end of this 'who supports who' baby story.

Agree2 Disagree4

Is that why he chose not to celebrate infront of sunderland fans yet when he scored against newcastle he went mad get in!

Agree4 Disagree3

Johnson.“I was at Newcastle when I was a kid from 10-12 before I went to Middlesbrough.” “So I grew up supporting Newcastle and David Ginola and players like that.” ..from the man himself.now lets put it to bed.

Agree2 Disagree3

And then we looked at the league table after 38games..... GET IN! Haha

Agree0 Disagree3

Enjoy your injuries and poor form in the leauge next season youll just be another stoke city .......get in! SGB

Agree3 Disagree1

HAHA will be like stoke city HAHA.

smb living in a dream world as always.

Agree0 Disagree4

Extract from the northern echo 19th may

Sunderland have been extensively linked with Johnson, a boyhood supporter of the club, in the past.

They tried to sign the Teessider in 2010, but were unable to compete with City's financial clout, and made another unsuccessful attempt to land him on loan last summer.

Agree4 Disagree1

You know its true ....thanks for yet another bite
the wear fisherman :)

Agree3 Disagree0

Funny how if a toon fans says papers its crap if a makem says papers its all fact(wonder how thats works)...??

Agree1 Disagree2

It dosnt matter who he supports(the truth is there are direct quotes from him out there that its newcastle)he will end up at spurs...

Agree1 Disagree2

Mackem or Geordie fan who cares what he is, all I care is him being in a sunderland top next season as he is a top player and reports he is favouring sunderland no matter what these SGBS think!

Agree5 Disagree2

Why would he favour sunderland over newcastle or spurs.
come on think about it

Agree0 Disagree4

You smb just wont take the fact that AJ has come out and said hes a toon fan will yous.
GET A GRIP

Agree0 Disagree3

Well i would like to admit i was wrong as i thought and johnson was a sunderland fan but heres an extract from aan interview he did for the 4-4-2 magazine hope this puts the argument to bed. Club supported as a boy
I grew up supporting Manchester United, mainly because of Giggsy. Although all my family supported sunderland.

Agree2 Disagree1

So we'll be just like Stoke next season? Terrible terrible season, finishing so low, although only 1 place behind you lot on goal difference, oh and with a bit of European footy for the fans, but then, you lot wouldn't want European football would you? For some reason.

Agree0 Disagree1

Sad dig mate everyone wants european football either europa or cl but would prefer to win a cup either league or fa to qualify but i think most sunderland fans are realistic knowing at the moment our squad is neither large or good enough to play around 50 games in a season and would end up in a relegation battle if we had qualified for europe. so not to sound bitter have good experiance of european football next season you deserved it and if you think your squad is good enough or large enough to play nearly 50 games you have nothing to worry about.

why go for zigic?????he can't kick a ball

Believable5 Unbelievable2

But he can head one, anyone is better than bentdner

Agree5 Disagree0

29 May 2012 09:20:54
zigic and fletcher upfront will be 2 good signings

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Can see the PL defenders shaking with the thought of marking these 2. What happened to LLorente and Munician?

Agree7 Disagree1

Shut up SGB, Zigic is a target man and is 6.8, he scored 4 past leeds last year in one game, if he has the right crosses he will score, what happened to you lot signing HAZARD EH SGB? Thats right he went to Chelsea, why would top players go to newcastle for? sunderland can't afford the wages for big players thats why we will only buy players that are between free and 10m and with uefa financial rules coming into to play next year aswell

Agree3 Disagree3

MON said a striker like llorente ! Not actually him

Agree1 Disagree1

Only asked what happened to Llorente and Municain did that upset you? Scored 4 past leeds, must be quality don't understand why the top 5 teams in the PL are in for him. lol.

Agree2 Disagree1

We have a wage cap smb have a check on your site from makems posting safc have a wage cap....and there aint a toon fan who actually thought we would get hazard...and has for top players our french nobodys out played your team all season....how many points above relegation where you...and does safc not hold the record for being relegated the most..??

Agree3 Disagree1

If mon is bringing the likes of Zigic in then im going to watch sunderland rca. We were awful under mon at end of season, packed defence etc, now looks like launch it to the worst footballer ive ever seen.

Agree1 Disagree1

Wow Geordies do have some humour 0.o

Agree1 Disagree0

This will be our 6th straight season back in the premiership, here is a question how long ago was it when you were in the championship?when your messiah got you relegated!

Agree2 Disagree1

Sunderland have spent more time in the second tier of English football than we have so I would be shouting about that? While we are on the subject of your 6th straight season, what have you actually done with them. We have done in 2 season what you have never done in PL history and that is finish 5th and qualified for Europe. SMB.

Agree1 Disagree1

6th season woo hoo its been here 20 years we been in for a straight 18 seasons...you have still been relegated more than any other team

Agree1 Disagree0

And promoted more than any other aswell, typical SGBS still living off their reputation made 17 years ago, spewcastle had money to spend, we only just started getting bigger money to spend 5 years ago hence why we are still in the premiership, just wait until you lot sell your better players, tiote, Ba to chelsea, Cisse Utd or City, Krul Tottenham, Colocini Arsenal or Tottenham thats for starters, big offers come in bye bye players and you lot know it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Obsessed with sunderland again sgbs!

Agree0 Disagree0

Correction you were in it for 16 straight seasons

Agree0 Disagree0

There it is again fortune telling!! Give it up you were hardly mystic meg this season were you?? You are deluded if you think we will sell all those players. As for " obsessed" broaden your vocabulary its a banter site......SMB
