RDM and Alan curbishley favorites to take over

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Give it to Kevin Ball till the end of the season!

Agree2 Disagree1

The best signing we can make is Nial Quinn to bring some stability to the club

Agree3 Disagree1

Please not mclaren hughes or curbishley. Any of these will be the same old same old. As far as oneill to litle to late.

YES HE'S GONE!!!!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Really surprised they have done it so late ! mind they should have done it 6 games ago!is it too late?

Agree1 Disagree0

Never too late.
3 points out of a possible 24?
Be very surprised if new manager can't do better, even with the run in we have.
See the Mags are trying to wind us up.
It is laughable to think they come on here after their great performance yesterday. I would put money on Pratdew going at end of season as well.
Please not Hughes.

Well thinks that's us 100% down now as a don't no any manager who will come in and save us, like everyone say they need time but hopefully we get a attacking manager with more faith in going forward. S. rooney.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

This is the time to get behind the team.
I think there is more than enough talent in the squad to keep us up.
Yes a lot of changes need to be made in the summer, but let's get behind players instead of getting on their backs.

Sunderland have parted company with Martin O'Neill lm86

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I'm in shock but anyone could see the players have lost confidence, he ain't motivating them, his tactics haven't worked but I respect the bloke, he saved us last season but a change is needed, just hope di-matteo

Agree2 Disagree1

Ten games too late me thinks

Agree5 Disagree0

Could see this coming. MO'N results and tactics have left us in a difficult position - his lack of support in the coaching area has proved a major issue. Whoever comes in will have to hit the ground running although i'm sure 2 wins will keep us in the PL (S 'hampton, Stoke) if we approach these games in a positive attacking manner. Best wishes to MO'N and his family in the future.
Glasgow mackem

Freefall.

Should have gone weeks ago!

least we've got a new goal scorer bramble, shame he puts it in the wrong net

Believable4 Unbelievable0

First job of new manager is too keep calamity Bramble out of the team!

Fellow supporter's now that fletcher's out for the season who would you like to see lead the forward line for the remainder of the season if graham click agree or if you prefer wickham click disagree just interested to see what you think my choice is I would like to find out if wickham can step up I know it's a lot of pressure on a young man's shoulder's but with a run of games maybe he can have a bit of an impact like kenwyne did when he first arrived

Believable5 Unbelievable4

In my opinion graham ran his heart out 2day

Agree4 Disagree1

Graham was unlucky today, mcclean and johnson were poor

Agree3 Disagree0

Graham is the worst player ever to stick on a sunderland shirt

People say we're in deep trouble
So is 12th place
We're only 3 points off them
I reckon we will stay up
We only need about 7points and we got stoke at home, Southampton, Villa and Newcastle
There's 10-12 points their

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Thank god someone with a little faith

O'neill transfer's in hit or miss
Cueller free miss
Saha free miss already left
Johnson 10m miss
Fletcher 12m hit
N'diaye 3m miss
Graham 5m miss
Two transfer window's 30m spent with the exception of fletcher could we realistically expect to recoup 7m for the other player's have not included ros (hit) or mangane (miss) because these are loan player's

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Probably nywhatevers best game

Is this the worst side that we've had since returning to the premier lge or does it just look and feel that way no heart or stomach for the fight week after week we have to watch team's some of which are considered to be so called lesser side's come to the sol and dominate by playing to a tempo and freedom which is frankly embarrassing to watch also is it time to drop Adam Johnson we need player's who will put there body's on the line for the club not player's who make statment's publicly then fall to deliver or has been the case with johnson look as if they don't care or go missing for most of the game I would also like to ask fellow supporter's is John o'shea the right man to captain the team because he never look's like he try's to organise the team and must be the only captain who never question's poor refereeing decision's finally should we keep faith with o'neill till the end of the season or appoint a new manager or caretaker in his place I will be very interested to hear the reply's to the question's I have posted and will post my answer's to the question's also

Believable1 Unbelievable1

AJ wouldn't get in my sons u5 team o'shea is average at best and must be the slowest player on the planet and if it was up to me oneil would have gone 4 months ago he's that bad but part from that am sick as f---!!

Agree0 Disagree1

O'shea was a giant today

Agree1 Disagree1

Better team with o'shea in side, no question about it. Goals conceded is'nt the reason we're in trouble, goals scored is. When was the last time you saw a ref change a decision?

Newcastle fan here. I'm sorry but we're going to be absolutely fine, we have quality players and a lot of our poor season has been down to a horrendous run of injuries. Now we've actually invested in the team, without injuries, we're a top 8 team. Sunderland on the other hand have a terrible defence, terrible manager, no creativity, no goal scorer anymore, no strength in depth and a horrific run in to the end of the season. Personally I'd love to see you stay up, the season isn't the same with derby days. But I have put £20 on you to go down, because I seriously think you're heading for the championship with QPR and Reading

well Geordie mate having worked In a bookies for 20 years take my advice and cover ye bet put yourself £20 on Newcastle to go down looks a good bet

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Agreed.

We will probably beat Fulham at home in our next game.

Then we will beat Sunderland the game after that.

That will put us on 39 points, with plenty of the season left to go.

Easy Peasy.

Agree1 Disagree3

Truely are deluded, top ten, these people are hilarious, they were slaughtered today, and would be below us if it was not for the sake of an injury time goal against Stoke. They are in this scrap no matter what the pearly king says.

Agree3 Disagree2

A top eight team!! look at the table

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle fan in peace here,
I disagree with this 'we are a top eight side' we are not!
the table does not lie, we are in trouble like all teams around us both, but think both sides will be ok. just
not all Geordies are deluded, there are some grounded fans here.
anyway goodluck for the rest of the season apart from the derby game

oneil stays till the end of the season then short will sack him or he will leave, there's 3 names being talked about moyes, dematteo and rafa benitez if jose mourinho goes back to Chelsea for me it would be moyes all day of the week this is 100% true

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Wholl come here when we play Championship football!

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh dear - looks like your wish has come true. I hope Ellis has someone lined up otherwise. Mourinho? Aye right.

Another poor performance against Manchester United
The fight for survival well and truly on

But I reckon if we get 4 points in the next 3 games I think we will have just about saved ourselves

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I would wager against it! There is just no creativity in your team and MON 's substitutions are laughable! He must be due to get sacked.

Graphite whizz

Agree1 Disagree4

Kinda wish I'd kept my mouth shut now.

Graphite whizz

Agree2 Disagree1

Why do you think you should have kept your mouth shut?

Agree1 Disagree0

I think we played well 2nd half

Agree2 Disagree0

Nice 4-0 result for city and the deluded mags thought we would get stuffed off utd. , so much for the mags not being in a relegation scrap and they still have an extra 2 games against benfica to play. lol

Agree2 Disagree0

Well need more than luck and graft to stay up. we are down

Agree0 Disagree0

Mags on their page shouting for pardews heed. I have said on here for a couple of weeks they won't win another game and will go down along with qpr and reading.

Agree1 Disagree0

Because I stupidly gloated and then we quickly conceded 2 goals (gin talking) although my post was half right anyway!
