Ed003 where is ed24 you are a misery I saw graham interview and he was asked a number of clubs where interested in you including newcastle why did you pick sunderland he said because its a massive club and liked what oneill had to say. Well other than signing graham I think the rest of the day results in these next three words, very bad buisness. all caused by ellis short the rest of the board O'Neill Scouts and Agents all they needed to do was bring a half decent creative midfielder or another striker in but never mind we will have to do our best with what we've got and hope we don't have any bad injuries ahead.
Day's not over yet and there's no I in business.

MON said our squad needed strengthening. Signing 2 players and 1 on loan still is not enough I fear. We only know how to go backwards and lack any creative players in midfield. Our defence is shocking, Rose apart! I think the season is over Because we have enough to get the points required not to be in a scrap but not enough to get anything other than a bottom half finnish.
A month ago MON was saying our squad was to small, well he's had the whole transfer window and he brought 3 players in BUT let 3 go, hope he's not going to us our small squad as an excuse again!

Third window, third time we see that O'Neill has no better tactics for assembling a squad than he has for organising the players on the field. Every aspect of his management is shambolic and out-of-touch, and we now have coaching and scouting set-ups that are as 'disappointing' (MON's favourite word for describing the tosh we see regularly at the SoL) as the team's performances.
When will Short wake up to the fact that O'Neill is just not a Premier League manager? Do we have wait till he demonstrates it by taking us to the Championship?
Marty is the most decorated manager we have had for a hell of a long time. he as been here for 15 months. to all the so called supporters for god sake give this man a descent run at the job.

I am a little dissapointed if we don't sign anyone else.
However, the players that mon has signed have filled the areas that we were weakest namely lb and now two strikers. We also have a great winger, a possible good midfielder and centre back. What do certain fans expect ?

Keep your eyes closed if you like. But we play less football now than we have for years, have some of the slowest and most error prone defenders in the league, no midfield to speak of- Johnson was a 10 million mistake who does not look like a premier league player more than once every four games or so- and no discernable plan to improve. O'Neill has been a major disappointment on all fronts, and won't get any better. The fact that there are some clubs with even more clueless managers is irrelevant, they don't make him any better. We probably are safe for this season- though we won't see much to excite us in the league, and were dumped out of both cup competitions by lower league teams. If you think this enough, you obviously have pretty low expectations and even less ambition.

If he went to boro I wouldn't be bothered why pay 5m for a sub just incase fletch gets injured. We need different style of player to fletch to offer something different if plan a isn't working give opposition something to think about

Looks like the stubborn old fashioned git has put all his eggs in one basket with the geordie and has blown it. We will be left with only fletch and wickham for rest of season oh dear we going down. Could be blessing. Without robertson mon is happless useless clueless and tactically inept. Over 12 months in charge and we are NO better off no matter what you might think
Instead of panick buys I would rather not have anyone coming in yes we might struggle if fletch gets injured but overall we should be ok

We booed because graham is not the answer to our pathetic displays. He is just a poor fletcher. Same style offers nothing new to opposition defences we need a different type player on bench not the same. If its not working with fletch what's the point in putting a poorer fletch on?
