Sunderland XI for August 19th

GK: Mignolet
RB: O'Shea
CB: Cuellar
CB: Brown
LB: Warnock
RW: Sessegnon
CM: Cattermole
CM: Colback
LW: McClean
ST: Fletcher
ST: Lllorente

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Brown won't be risked Warnock hopefull won't sign, olssen will though. I thought it started on the 18th has it been moved?

Agree1 Disagree0

LMAO. The Llorente link just doesn't get boring. You don't really believe your getting him do you? The rest will get you relegated.

Agree3 Disagree1

No way......k

Agree2 Disagree0

Poor defence we would conceed to many sloppy goals with a defence like that as for midfield we need more quality and Llorente i dont think he would come up to NE and fletcher please no

Agree2 Disagree1

We arnt sign llorente ! I'm sick of all these bulls**t posts about him, browns out for ages as well, think before you post b*******

Agree3 Disagree0

Dont think mon has the pulling power we thought ha had. struggling to attract the quality he mentioned if fletcher is the best he can do then dear oh dear here comes another boring mid table finish

Agree9 Disagree0

You just realised that mon as not got the pulling power.....very over rated manager who was lucky 15 years ago with leicester and when it comes to spl theres only 2 teams up theres so it aint that hard....villa never broke into the top 4 top 6 only for 2 seasons then mon spat his dummy....as a mag i honestly think reidy was a better manager all together......k

Agree10 Disagree0

Team more likely to be:-mig bards,o'shea,cuellar,richo larson,catts,colback,mclean sess,campbell. anything look familiar !l

Agree3 Disagree0

Sorry guys but Barca are looking at LLORENTE so you have no chance.

Think we all agree we don't wanna be paying 10mil for fletcher, he's just an average player. I'm sure noble would have scored more goals than him if Mon gave Noble the chance. There proven strikers out
there for much cheaper. For example the likes of Adebayor, he's supposed to be
moving to Spurs for a couple of million.
Also, Jermain Defoe, he'd be a great
addition to the squad which is just what we need since Bent left.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

According to sky adebayor fee was roughly £5 million just so spurs could pay him £100k a week thats £4 million a year but he,s now holding out for the transfer fee to go to him....he would never ever even speak to safc so your obviously dreaming if you think he would as he could probablygo to a team playing european football possibly champions league.....k

Agree1 Disagree1

Its ok mentioning names but its gettin them 2 cum up here ! if u look on the wolves page they rate him really highly aswell as a lot of pros in the game , mon is no mug so why not give the lad a chance ! he scored against all the top teams last year and scored 11 goals in total even tho mm nd tc played him out of position in the latter part of the season ! jarra makem

Agree1 Disagree3

Adeybayor might be 5 mill but would be double if not triple the wages. On a another note his chance conversion rate last season was 18%-exactly the same as Fletchers.

Agree0 Disagree0

What about Berbatov? Around the five million mark and I think he's brilliant on his day

Agree0 Disagree0

Berbatov is very good player and top finisher so why would he come to safc?? qpr will sign him or maybe west ham they have funds to pay 70k,80k,90k, a week safc dont.

Agree4 Disagree1

You just said a very fine player so why would he go to safc? So you're basically rating qpr and west ham higher than Sunderland?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not rating qpr or west ham more than safc i,m just saying they have more FUNDS than safc and can pay nore WAGES than safc thats all...

Agree6 Disagree0

If Berbatov came to the north east it would be to Newcastle not Sunderland .Still he won't come to either imo.

Strikers that are a possibility
Stephen Fletcher
Michael Owen
Craig Bellamy
Kenwyne Jones
Jermaine Defoe
Clint Dempsey
Dimitar Berbatov
Ricky Van Wolfswinkle

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Only 2 on that list is possible. Fletcher and Jones. The rest not a chance. You are a mid table team at best you would never attract the rest. You wouldn't even the pays the wages for them.

Agree4 Disagree1

Fletcher yes bit he,s way overpriced....owen possibility, craig bellamy no way at all, kenwyne jones is a possibility, clint demsey no way he wants european football and as sais so himself, jemaine defoe would not come at all and refused a couple of times according to the crack, berbatov would not come anywhere near safc except to play against them and qpr are supposed to be intrested allthough hughes as denied it but they have the money to if they want, and would not of thought ricky van wolfinkle would come either......k

Sunderland should buy one of the Asante kotoko strikers. Have 13 Senior Strikers on there books.
To many for one club. How about BENJAMIN ACHAEMPONG or NAFIU IDRISSU.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Who the flick are they?!

Agree3 Disagree1

Collins going to west ham, olssen to Chelsea, hooper to stay with the mighty celts so get your head out the clouds ya deluded mackams

Agree3 Disagree3

Deluded mackems?? another obsessed geordie!! why would hooper stay in that crap SPL league instead of coming to the best league in the word? answer is he would even go to wigan to escape that league you deluded loser!

Agree3 Disagree3

Did you not read the post properly I'm a Celtic fan and yes hooper wil stop with Celtic as we can offer champions league football nows who deluded

Agree2 Disagree0

You for coming on a sunderland banter page and trying to big up celtic who will go the way of rangers, anyone bids 6-8m for hooper from the premiership and he is off, whats the point in being in the champs league when your rubbish?if you played in the premiership you lot would get relegated!

Agree0 Disagree2

Yes and after champs lge game where u will go out in the first rnd u will play kilmarnock a canny come down isnt it.tk73

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be silly, you don't need to tell us the SPL is crap because we all know it is, but as crap as the league is Celtic are still a much more attractive option than Slumberland regardless of what league you play in. You'll never will anything or play in Europe. When Hooper leaves it will be for a bigger and better team than Slumberland

Agree2 Disagree1

True. Why would any Celtic player want to play in a proper league?
Jeez.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes because you play in a league that Accrington Stanley could win. Your league made Daryl Murphy look good :-o now crawl back under your rock please.
mackhim

Agree1 Disagree0

It even made stokes look a world beater,he struggled to make the bench at safc.celtic should leave the spl and play in the league where they belong.. the league of ireland.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny thing is i,m when safc fans talk about how good mon is they allways say mon won medals at celtic and yes he did but tbh my 12 year daughter could manager celtic and win the league theres only 2 teams up there.....k

Agree5 Disagree0

Theres only one now

surely we can spend £12mill on someone better than fletcher its rediculous how we are even thinking about this dont get me wrong i love o'neill but im just really suprised if it was bruce i would have been like aww yeah typical of him signing a player like that but i expected a bit more quality from o'neill and his staff is it just me or are we all wishing we had nufc's scouting system?

Believable4 Unbelievable2
