who wants to see giaccherini replace johnson next game?
I think most of us would want Giaccherini back in the side but then again the last game has posed some serious questions for which Poyet deserves some praise for. I wouldn't have gone anywhere near that starting 11 so am happy to take a back seat and let Saturday unfold. Certainly some players aren't out of the side because they are not as good as those in it but Poyet seems the first to acknowledge this.
I agree, I think Johnson has not performed as well as we all hoped.
It is true to say that we need to go back to basics, but we also need 11 players on the pitch.
I bet he's really disappointed in himself
In Pre-Season he said he will show his best form and go to Brazil with England and he doesn't really deserve to be in our team if we're honest
I think the thing that annoys me Mr Mackem with him though is at times he's still playing ok but its the lack of heart he shows, ducking out of 50/50 challenges, not concentrating when he has defensive duties and all in all not taking responsibility for his decision making. He's not totally out of form by any stretch but I think he's proving why he'll never be a top player because he's mentally a weak individual. Only a personal thought and love to be proved completely wrong.
