Points not praise? Moral victories? Don't know what O'Shea is on, but if he thinks the error strewn performance against Liverpool is in danger of satisfying fans he needs to wake up. We expected to lose to Liverpool, we expected that the lack of organisation and pace in defence, the lack of creativity anywhere on the field and the lack of cutting edge would all be exposed- and they were. The relatively calm acceptance of another poor performance was simply recognition that Ball is not responsible and the players did not show new failings to add to the ones we already know all too well. I really think it is time O'Shea was pensioned off- he is not worth his place on the field and he spouts complete rubbish off it.

Excellent post mate. oshea and the likes must think that us fans go to the games with red and white blinkers on. if most of us are honest some of the crap that has been on display at the sol has been unbearable the sooner the players like oshea who masquerade as players are shown the door the better. finally the sooner these players realise the majority of us are not deluded or disillusioned with what is going on at the club the less he will come out and spew that type of crap out.

I've just read that post if your boss is upsetting the workforce! My god these haven't been doing it consistently for a while! Why weren't they sacked! The only pressure on these prima donnas is performing in front of our passionate fans! Cause they dinnat have to worry about anything else! They've got the house the car nee money worries in fact this lot can get rid off there managers when they feel like it! I've worked for people who I've hated but I'm professional enough to do my job to the max! No matter what abuse and and provocation is thrown at me! Maybe cause we worry about losing our jobs! And houses etc cause we ain't on the same wages as these overpaid pampered prima donnas! Let's get real they play a game of football! For ridiculous wages!Pressure is going to a foreign land in the armed forces fighting for peace and democracy for 20'000 grand a year! Working your butts off! Working all hours in unbelievable difficult situations! Not knowing who your enemy is at times! Losing your friends in battle coping with being away from your friends and family! Howay this is a game of football so safc football players pull ya fingers out! And start playing! for the badge wether ya get on with the next manager or not it's personnel pride first and foremost!

Football is not a normal job (neither is being in the army. Much respect my friend). Managers rant, never heard the term 'hair dryer'. They all have to go or we will go down with a wimper.

I'm the lad who said about upsetting the workforce and plus I was in the forces so I know about being away from family working stupid shifts on duty ect. but from experience if a boss is being a bully, upsetting people all the time then people will try and speak to the person doing it but if he or she won't listen then it goes higher which is excatly what the players have done, PDC has no one else to blame than himself, if he got more time I think we would be relegated by christmas, at least with bally we have a chance, I thank PDC for keeping us up last season and beating the mugs 0-3 but he couldn't treat his players with respect and that cost him, banging on about it was the players fault and should earn their money blah blah blah is just rubbish, an unhappy workplace is a bad workplace, a happy workplace and team will make a good team! can we just drop this PDC rubbish coz it happened over a week ago and I would personally like to move on and not dwell on what has happened!

Yes to all the above posts, but, for some reason 3 managers have been sacked. How can this happen without the owner not realising that something is really wrong with the players attitude at Sunderland. They don't seem too bothered losing game after game, and that goes for last season and the season before. Surely our fans can see that their favourites, have let them down for 3 years now, but still they post here that Cattermole and his buddies must be included in every game. They are perpetual losers and they are not bothered, take a look at other prem teams on match of the day, players giving everything for 90 mins, then look at Johnson, he has got to be taking the p**s, but he is not alone, they are all at it, taking the p**s. What this club needs is a serious colonic irrigation to wash these bloodsuckers out of the club once and for all. Short must appoint the right man or these lot will take us down for sure. Chris-s.

Question? What happened with Steve Bruce? Martin o Neil? Telling the truth and pointing out facts are not bullying? Look I don't agree with bullying? If there was any at all? Frustration from Paulo being a perfectionist and his inability to understand that maybe not all footballers are blessed? Maybe played a big part!i agree he was a bit eccentric and over the top! But to call him a bully?i think that's a bit over the top? I'll just say we all have opinions! And we are not all blind to what's been going on sunderland football club! Under Martin o Neill things were that relaxed he didn't turn up until a couple a days before a match! So these bunch off have had both ends of the spectrum! So as a fan the least I can ask is a 100 per cent commitment to the cause! No matter what environment!!

Your saying if we stuck with pdc we were down b4 Christmas, I'm saying go with bally and well b down b4 Christmas and he is a legend and we don't want to spoil that, let him do the job for one more game and go back to the u21's.

Whoever we get in we will be down before christmas as the new manager can't spend till jan, with bally in 2 games I've seen exciting attacking football which will get us out of trouble, we were very unlucky against Liverpool but also they had two top strikers and are 2nd in the league for a reason, call me silly but we should be looking to take points off man utd on saturday as they are struggling and no better time to play them! I'm not going to keep having conversations about PDC anymore as it's happened, we move on, Back Bally, the players instead of slagging them off which some people seem prone to doing, time some fans take a look at themselves and be more positive, HA'WAY THE LADS!

"time some fans take a look at themselves and be more positive", you are kidding, back the players, they have let us down for 3 years man, and will continue to do so, and you are pointing the finger at some of the fans for slagging them off!Fans are sick and tired of these players who let us down week after week, so excuse us if we have a moan now and again.

So constantly being negative and having a go is the way forward according to your logic then? too many of you negative fans just want to blame someone, how about you prove your a true sunderland supporter and back the team through thick and thin remember? Sunderland till we die! getting sick and twisting about things all the time is the mags fans jobs! if as a club we are to move forward then all our fans must believe in Sunderland, the players, chairman ect. are you one of these fans who constantly boo the team? or are you a true mackem and sing your heart out for the lads! Just my opinion so excuse me for it!

I think the majority of fans could understand if pdc was given another 5 or 6 games and then was sacked by performances on the field but the way he has lost his jobs has left a sour taste in most fans mouths
