Regardless of who our manager is, if we cannot score we cannot stay in the top flight. I'm not a defeatist before anyone says but I'm a realist.

First off he needs to tell his players to not dive in the box .Larsson was a disgrace today .God bless Speedo a true pro who would never stoop to that level ,what a shame on a weekend when all of football was remembering such a pro that someone has to show the ugly side of the game.

Agree3 Disagree5

Don't forget wolves 2nd goal was a handball so 2 players let football down 2day, why the hell did larsson take the pena?

Agree7 Disagree3

Larsson should get the lead in Swan Lake after that ballet performance. I hope O'Neil fines him for bringing the game into disrepute. That would send the right message out from day one.

Agree5 Disagree2

Why is everyone having a go at larsson? there was contact after all

Agree0 Disagree0

Because he play acted for a penalty, contact was minimal and fair. Some might think that diving and conning the ref is fair and part of the game. Sorry mate, but I don't.

O'neil will make a move in january for Heskey and Petrov to beef up the squad. Also expect Lee Hendrie to come in. Marty has vast experience of working in lesser leagues ( celtic) so if relegation happens,im sure he will be able to put a side together for the play off places. Hope Ellis doesnt upset him though cos he will spit his dummy out and walk away ( villa). The future looks bright but i wish Steve Bruce was given more time. Oh and O'neil wasnt a big sunderland fan when he was a boy, he just liked Charlie Hurley, as he did with a lot of players in that era. Now lets hope we can get more fans through the turnstiles for his arrival and maybe he can get more money off Ellis to build us a Europe bound team,we had that at the start of the season we thought but in reality we are crap. I know he is old now and been out of football for 18 myhs but lets give him all our support. Come on Marty boy.

Pardew has lost the plot in his jobs and
he always had bright starts(reading, west ham, southampton, charlton) expect a poor poor poor run.

Since big martin is watching the game today the boys have something to prove to get into his team so expect a result today lads! Ha'way the lads!

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Big Martin?? Only about 5` 2" isnt he? At least he has brought a new shirt sponsor with him to get rid of the Bingo callers, Boots the chemist as they will supply the incontenance pants for the old fella.

Agree9 Disagree4

Like you I expected a result today - but unlike your sorry lot I got it! - 2-1 Ha'way the ladbrooks. But that is the difference, we lose narrowly to a regular top team, a team that boasts international class. You on the other hand get minced by your relegation rivals once again.

Agree2 Disagree2

Narrowly chelsea stuffed you and if it wasn't for krul they would of had 8, we lost narrowly to them1-2 at home not 0-3 SGB, if we had scored the pena we would of won, but we got screwed by a blatent handball and poor ref
