With martin O'neill here we will play football his way not anything like steve bruces im so excited to see all those terrible tactics gone and i definetly think that players need to come in players need to come in players need to go out even some of the ones that have just arrived a few months agoi have no idea if these signings would be possible but ill say them anyway, i still expect great things from sunderland in 2012....

Yeah i agree mate have a really good clear out of all the championship fodder in the squad

Agree3 Disagree1

Yeah but not meyler or colback

Agree6 Disagree0

If its a complete clear out of all the championship fodder, is that not the WHOLE squad? Only asking

Agree3 Disagree5

Colback is one for the future, you forget he's just a kid, in a good team I think he could still break on through to be a canny little player. I would keep him in the squad.

Agree4 Disagree1

Wouldn't want rid of colback meyler or turner. The rest can all get out along with bramble

Agree5 Disagree1

Surely Ji can't be written off after one game. He's only 20. He needs time to adjust to the premier league before we can judge him. The problem is that we bought 2 youngsters who need time a patience but never bought the experienced goal scorer to allow them that time. The were onto a no winner the minute Gyan left. Couldn't agree more about Elmohamady. But Turner is a good squad player and thats what you need to build a successfull premier league team. I would get rid if Bramble way before Turner

Agree5 Disagree0

Meyler and colback to stay, think ji is just low on confidence, cattermole has to go with elmo and bramble, gordon will go also

Agree5 Disagree1

Tim Cahill, Phil Jagielka, Jermaine Defoe!
Come on please listen to yourselves, next you will be saying you can push for the title SMB!

P.S Say hi to the Smoggies as you pass them

Agree3 Disagree6

Jog on bonny lad. It wasn't so long ago on your site you were suggesting Anelka and Drogba...

Agree6 Disagree0

Wasn't that long ago that they were bragging about being 3rd and saying they gonna be in the champs league next season coz they a big club again, now they 6th and are losing players to injury and slip slip sliding down that table, now their excuse is we going to be in europe, I bet by next may they will be right down the bottom near the relegation places and sunderland will be mid table if not higher

Agree7 Disagree0

Not a bad position to slip down to though,is it? If your team slips any further......

Agree0 Disagree5

Like we will under o'neill, watch us go now SGB, no more bruce and black with their rubbish tactics and playing players out of position keeping us back, o'neill will give them confidence and expect a win against blackburn, think norwich will beat you as they no pushovers at carrow road

Another defeat snatched from the jaws of victory! But in fairness looking at the way the team played I'm sure MON will take positives from what he saw. Another example of shocking substitutions that have cost us the game! Oh and some decidedly dodgey refereeing.... I know Larsson dives without contact. But if he doesn't jumt over the leg does it not then make full contact? I'm not condoning the ridiculous swan dive but I feel it would have been a stonewall penalty had he not jumped the leg. It evened out anyway as we should have definately had a penalty when O'Shea was rugby tackled 1st half.I'm more inclined to say fine Larsson for that pathetic excuse for a penalty.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

The thing is how the ref never saw the handball for their 2nd goal i'll never know, wolves are cheats, larssons dive was cancelled out by him missing the pena, why did he take it for? blacks tactics are as bad as bruces, glad they both have gone, hope O'neill can change us around, cattermole and elmo want selling, Bentdner wants dropping

Agree5 Disagree1

Mate you need to go to spec savers, the ball strikes ohara on the shoulder.

Agree3 Disagree8

Whatever it was his arm watched it about 3 times you must be a mag

Agree5 Disagree1

Even the commentators said it was a handball. Regardless we should be hammering these.

Agree5 Disagree2

What i did notice was the ref was very friendly with o hara laughing and joking all through the match maybe the son he didnt know about {Ed003's Note - Really ?? good grief, get this on the conspiracy quick }
