Sick of the moaners on here like, we could win the treble and they would still bleat on about how rubbish MON is. Honestly what's wron with getting behind the players, sure a few new faces will be coming in, and I rate MON highly so I'm sure we will continue to improve, all that is needed is patience.

Unfortunately Matty, it does not matter how highly you rate MON- or anyone else. What matters is how well they perform, and sadly despite your faith his performance continues to be below par. So while you can say you believe he is better than the performances suggest, I'm afraid you don't make them better by saying it.

Mon and robertson were the perfect partnership without robertson mon is average

Matty we are getting worse, not continuing to improve at all.We are behind the players but have you seen how many games we have won in the last 12 months.It is no wonder fans will moan.

We know that O'Neill is stubborn, and I am sure that a degree of stubbornness is a useful quality in a manager. But there is a point where stubborn becomes pig-headed stupidity. Like persisting with Cuellar whose errors and inability to focus have cost several goals already. Or leaving Fletcher alone up front game after game, despite the evidence that the team looks much better when Wickham is on the pitch too. We got a reprieve today, after another dreadful first half, but how many times does O'Neill's preferred starting formation have to fail before he gets into his fat head that the team needs to be set up differently? Every game his judgements look poorer. and there are no signs at all that he has any idea how improve the team's tactics or even which positions need strengthening.

MON said after the game this was a brilliant performance YES against a championship side !and after we played 2 up front !! and for one half ..we were awful in the first half ..AGAIN !..was our alleged manager at a differant game to the rest of us !?..hell have to go !... {Ed024's Note - really ? }

I say the same. Swap Cuellar out for a new CB or I think I would actually take Bramble instead of him at the moment. He needs to play 2 up front. Wickham showed he has no fear today and can take chances and change the game at any time. Him and Fletcher up front would be deadly. MoN also needs to bring in a new CM.

Totally agree with that.We will continue to walk a tightrope with Cuellar, or indeed any of our center halfs in the side.Whickham will continue to put in cameo parts because Mon does not do 2 strikers.We will continue to play 2 wingers and a lone Fletcher when both these wingers just hit and hope, and can never get a ball to him, he must be totally confused by now.So unless J.K.Rowling comes in with Harry Potter i cant see too much changing in 2013.

At least we didn't get beat like Geordie island they were absolutely crap and were very dirty!!!!

What Newcastle do is completely irrelevant. If they had lost 10 nil to Darlington it would not make our performance any better. If you prefer to see the Mags lose than the Lads play anything resembling Premier League football maybe you should spend more time watching them.

What an absolute joke of a club we are at present, a Premiership side ( for now ) naming only 6 subs away to a Championship side! And as for some of the players we've been linked with in this transfer window. Embarrassing, ram it I've had enough!

Bolton only named six subs aswell

Lot more clubs in the same situation as us bud if ye dont like it dont go simple as the club needs fans to get behind them wether they playing well or bad.

Seriously with your petty Mon needs to go nonsense. Agreed, Cuellar can probably shave his b******* better than he defends but to be honest MoN DOES KNOW what he's doing. Wickham is better than Campbell. Let Campbell go. Wickham and Fletcher up front is what we need. And if rumors of Horeau are correct then we'll have 3 brilliant strikers.
