wish everyone would cheer up. everyones saying its gonna be a long season. personally i cant wait! we have sess a unbelivable player, mcclean a young talent cant wait to see him, larsson no description required! and plenty more. more importantly a great manager who gets the best out of our lads. Im sure signings are coming. easy top 10 next season! -Big zac mac!

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Great to see you on the page zac
, and yeah i agree just hope your enthusiasm is justified

Nice one Big mac zac. Allways look on the bright side of life la la la la. No honestly the best letter I have read for a long time. Dave 100% mackem

See the rose tinted glasses brigade are out in force today!

Agree3 Disagree3

Someone elses glass is always half empty.

Jeez.

Agree3 Disagree4

Sess not gonna get 10 goals larsson cant play a full season mcclean players have sussed and double up on him. he went very quite second half of season when defenders realised how to stop him. dont know where the plenty more come from mate. campbell ji wickham noble will be lucky to get 15 goals between them. we have signed a decent center half but we are DESPERATE for l back 2 c forwards and r winger who can actually take people on. needed these players for 18 months now FACT

Agree2 Disagree2

God. We are relegated before a ball has been kicked. I wonder if you sit behind me in the North Stand. Dave 100% mackem

In the words of the inimitable lance corporal Jones "DONT PANIC!!". Look it is still early august, the market is pretty flat on all fronts, the only real movement has happened at Chelsea which to be honest is an anticipated anomaly. Just look at city, they have bought next to nobody so far and do you really expect that to be the case at the end of august. Give it a couple of weeks and clubs will start panic selling and prices will drop dramatically. In MON I trust ..... But do you?

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Completely agree with you. big zach mac

Agree8 Disagree1

Sorry to object but the season starts 18 august not the 31 aug. cant afford to blow 9-12 points waiting for players. We need them in NOW

Agree2 Disagree2

Listen first game is arsenal away which I think even the most optimistic fan won't be surprised to lose, then the only other game before the deadline is reading at home which we should win with the squad we have now, signings before the deadline will do me nicely

only one man to blame agent bruce he wasted so much cash in wages and transfers on complete and utter dross

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Keano was worse.tk73

Agree4 Disagree1

To be fair he did bring us the messi of the prem league super sess ,some of the players Bruce brought were ok just had some poor results and had to go just my opinion like

Agree4 Disagree1

Best players last season?? Larsson, Sess,Mclean, Decent players last season? Mignolet,Gardner,Vaughn. AGREE? ALL signed by Bruce so before you start with your DROSS, Think! Lets see what Oneil brings in first because Cuellar doesnt fill me with hope and seem to be struggling to attract anyone else. Bruce had his faults, some major, but i will hold my hands up and say i was against him because of his background. safc1973

Agree5 Disagree1

I think people forget some of the quality Bruce brought to the squad, bent, gyan and sess are the best front three we have had in many a year, its not his fault the first two turned into money grabbing arse holes. Larsson & Mclean too, both bruces signings don't be too quick to write his signings off. If he had the man management skills of O'Neil he would be a top manager

Agree3 Disagree2

Your post just got battered son

Agree4 Disagree0

Come on you keep blaming Sir Bruce but you all said that he had built a squad that would get you into Europe and the top 6. So he could not have been that bad. MON ain't doing much better??

Agree2 Disagree2

If bruce signed mcclean why did he not play him,i heard it was quinn who signed him thats why he never got a game.

O'neill says deals have stalled thats probably due to the fact we have a tight arse owner

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Is this where it starts only thing ES has done wrong is give the wrong managers money to spend.

Agree3 Disagree0

Dont think oneill would have come if he had no money to spend,he knew he had to rebuild b4 he took the reigns, short will have told him wot he had to spend b4 he got the job,if ellis said sorry martin we are on a shoestring do you think he would have took the job?tk73

Agree3 Disagree1

Depends how much he wanted to be back in the game...or and how much wages mon is on....

I know we should trust oneil but tbh I'm starting to worry here , I mean we have only brought I 1 player and the players were linked with are not and let's be fair here world beaters are they . If we stay like we are we are going to struggle and if we want quality then news flash you have to pay tip dollar which is something we don't want to seem to so , so were does that leave us then would love to know what you think ed? And everyone else us it to early to panic ? {Ed001's Note - far too early, there is plenty of time to go, the end of the transfer window is always the busiest. Teams that need to sell, then have to sell for what they can get, whereas earlier in the window they try and hang on for more money.}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I feel exactly the same as you but just try to keep positive and hopefully we will sign some great players that havnt even been roumers yet and we will find out right at the last minute and be over the moon that they arnt the people we are linked with at the moment

Agree4 Disagree0

God I hope your right ed ? We are paying the price for keanes time in charge

Agree3 Disagree1

I honestly never feel the need to slag of keane he was great got us promoted and kept us in the prem in our first season back had some great times under him do you not think ed?

Agree1 Disagree1

Keane done well but paid well over the odds for average players and offered them stupid wages we are still paying the price financially now hence at least a dozen players released upto now
