Has anyone else noticed that as soon as Mclean and sessyong signed their NEW contracts, they have played sh*t. OR were they one season wonders?

Sess is struggling to find form, Maclean had a poor game today - otherwise he's had a decent start to season.

Sess and mcclean played canny against wigan, it's man city for gods sake, their starting 11 is worth like 200m not to mention theirs about 100m on their bench aswell, city decided to hit form today which was bad for us

The way we are being overrun and outplayed for long periods of the game in every prem game this season is worrying .this needs to be sorted MON ..against MAN CITY we looked toothless

Another poor performance from a team that lacks pace, resilience, effort and skill. Score was flattering. It was obvious last year that we needed to strengthen the centre of the defense and find fullbacks that could tackle and keep position. It was also obvious we needed someone who could hold up the ball and pass accurately in midfield. O'Neill has addressed none of these issues, and is proving a severe disappointment after his honeymoon start. Fletcher may be a good signing- though he owes a lot more before he repays the fee- but Johnson is a player whose skills and ego need better players to around him than we have to get the best from him. Worse, in terms of instilling discipline and organization O'Neill makes the likes of Pulis and even Pardew look like giants.

First defeat and your moaning. We were playing Man City Premier League Champions away from home - arguably our hardest game of the season. No one is claiming we are the finished article but Fletcher and Johnson clearly improve the side. You need to cheer up !

What a load of rubbish, our one defeat of the season has come away at the league champions, we have the fourth best defence in the league so far and sit comfortable mid table with a game in hand of most clubs. As far as a passing midfielder goes we have one of the best in seb. Sees is still not fully fit and aj just needs to bed into th way we play. I am berry happy with the season so far, were not gonna be in Europe burnt we need to realise exactly who and what we are, were safc, love us or hate us lm86

Johnson has just returned from injury but the form of Sessenon is a worry perhaps we need to bring in one two of the youngsters and drop Mclean or Sess for a game or two

6 weeks into the season and still not fit.hmm. how is that? mon excuse for him i think. time to drop mcclean opposition have himm sussed and he has no plan b needs to learn a few tricks and needs to track back more. 2 goals came from his side of pitch

On the other hand. We currently sit with 7 points and a game in hand on most teams. If we had played and beaten Reading(and I do say if as I know no PL game is a gimme) we would have 10 points be above the mags and sitting in ninth. Would you still be moaning then. Yes last season we took points off the big boys but we lost at home to the likes of Wigan. Those are the games that are of more relevance.Once we actually have our full first choice 11 playing then judge.

The sooner we get brown and bardsley back the better, Johnson playing hungover and mcClean couldn't care less. Absolute shambles. Safc93

Sorry safc 93 i did say i know adam from his younger days from playing football with young ex boro player parnaby....adam is a cracking player when HE decideds he wants to play...his attitude is he,s made it now so who cares LETS PARTY INSTEAD....can only assume man city thought his off the PITCH antics was not worth due to partying all the time did not warrant keeping him..........on the other hand fletcher looks a good buy tbh lets hope he does,nt score against us.......k

If that was the case he would of stayed at city on more money and party in a better city. but he came to sunderland to get a crack at the england team so wake up.

Mancini saying in the press this morning "" Adam (johnson) is a good player and i think he will move to a BIG CLUB in the future "" Tells you everything about what Most clubs in the Premier league regard Sunderland as. Just a thought!

Mancini is a moron. Don't rate him as a manager and I think he talks out of his backside 90% of the time. Before you all start slating me for saying I don't rate him the facts speak for themselves, over 400 million and still struggle in games. Safc93
