I remember John Barnes goal for England against Brazil, on par with the famous George best goal when he played in the USA.
John Barnes was never able to recreate that form for England though. A decent player no doubt, frustrating to watch at times but he never scored anything as spectacular.

is jordan rhodes any better than Ryan noble ?? put ryan in that team he would score for fun

I think Noble would score as many if not more than Rhodes in League 1, Noble deserved his chance and hopefully will get it against Peterborough 2mora

DELUDED clowns in this post. Noble is a million miles away from league 1 standard and will be off to Barrow or Gateshead within next 3 years to sign non contact forms before heading to Sunderland rca or Ryhope ca and sunday mornings for the Dog and Parrot

never turned me head with this jordan rhodes but the lad got 5 goals last night, maybe worth a 5m bid, I'm sure if we don't get him now tottenham or someone will

I watched rhodes last night in the cup match, I personally don,t think he is good enough for the premiership.Its a massive leap from the first to prem and the team they played last night were terrible.

Noble has scored a plethora of quality goals against stronger opposition in the reserves of late.
