Ed's

I think all you Sunderland supporters need to realise that Henderson is on his way.its just a question of how much.

If henderson goes then you will have between 13 and 16 million for hi and whatever bent money you have in the kitty.

These would be my tips for you to improve the squad
Nzogbia (wing)
Osvaldo (striker) or Wellbeck
Gibson
Adam (CMF)
Daniel Pacheco (loan)

Best of luck for the new season

REDFORLIFE (YNWA)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I disagree REDFORLIFE mate. Nzogbia will go to a bigger and better club. Osvaldo is to good for Sunderloan. Wellbeck (maybe) but Mr Ferguson could take a hissy fit, with Henderson seemily coming to us. Adam is to good for Sunderloan and Pacheco on his way to Norwich.

Original i'll give ya dat lad, divvie.Na just wondering which wings were gonna play Mata and Suarez on, not Luis, Jeffren from Barcelona who's more or less stated he's gonna join the Liverpool revalution.And don't worry your little cotton socks about Henderson taking corners, we'll have Mata for that, dont worry about his crossing, we'll have Jeffren for that.Dont worry about his tackling, we'll have Lucas for that, as long as he can pass and move and keep the ball he'll do just fine.Why don't all you makems come and join us too, its gotta be better den watching a load of loan players with no passion for the club coming and going every season. Jonny Boy6

Believable0 Unbelievable0

All our loan players apart from one went back, we trying to buy Onouha and Wellbeck and have already got a deal in place for Elmo, Bruce won't make that mistake again getting lots of loans. Take the mick all you want I think Sunderland will have a better season next season

Breaking news, Sunderland fans head up his s**tter cause they keep selling there best players and do nothing with money the get.Must've really pissed you off when Bent went to a bigger club.You'll be even more pissed when he goes to one of the biggest clubs in the world, get real your a selling club and get used to it.Just get the players and feed the big clubs, clacker still up your head lad, thought so ha ha.Johnny Boy6

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Maybe but it makes our bank balance look better plus Bruce does spend the money and we were 6th until we got all them bad injuries to key players. so something tells me we will be alrite and should get in 2 or 3 good players for that money. good business for Sunderland if you ask me

Hav you ever seen henderson put a cross in? He can't. Have you ever seen him take a decent corner or free kick? He can't. No one has ever seen him make a tackle because he never has. A hope the lad does turn out as good as what you hope. But at the minute and in the future 20 mil is a seriously good bit of business for sland. Ps please don't send ngog our way he's utter cack. Thanks

Ye Carrolls price was inflated for 2 reasons lad/lass.Timing of Torres leaving which left us a day or so to get a replacement and he's English oh and the potential to form the most lethal strike partnership in the Prem.Hendo, i like dat got a nice ring to it when he's just bagged or put in a killer cross for Carroll to bury.Another case of great potential and being English and he's already shown he can play to a very high standard.You said yourself the crowd got on his case because he wasn't playing upto it so he must've had some outstanding games for you to say that .Thats what happens with young players, their form is a bit more inconsistent but as he trains and plays with Suarez, Gerrard, Kuyt Raul M and Juan Mata, gets advice off Carra and Reina.When he joins after not too long he'll be playing out of his skin every week and in 2 years 20mil will seem be a snip lad/lass.Thats why his price is over inflated.and will be the same for any top young player that's English talent coming through.Jonny Any6

Jonnyboy ya don't know what ya talking bout lad! How many times you seen henderson play? We only got on his back when he was playing no where near as good as we knew he could which at his best is nowt flash anyway. As for your owners knowing what they doin- Carroll 35 mil henderson 20? I think not

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Plus it is only a select few fans booing him when he has played poor this season which is more times than he has played good. You should research things before you put on Deluded scouse rubbish!

Who's says how much a 21 year old should be paid, 15 to 20 grand a week.What should there be a wage scale decided on age regardless of ability.Liverpool won't be paying him 80 grand a week more like 60 to 70.Clubs with our owners know what they are doing, unlike yours.Ya should wish him well he's moving to a big club and considering he's been booed by his own supporters when he's a local lad is a disgrace.At Liverpool the youngesters who've come through play well from the off ala Kelly, Flanaghan and Spearing is because there not sacred to try things, they know their trying to do the right thing and encourge them when things go wrong, not get on his case.He'll be well rid of ya's bigtime.Jonny Boy6

Believable0 Unbelievable1

All the supporters? I doubt that, you always get a select few who boo, 60,000 or 70,000 grand for a 21 year old is bad. I don't think your owners know what they doing 35m for Carroll, 20m for Henderson, bet you end up in debt splashing the cash, Quinn is the best chairman in the premiership hands down. Henderson loves it at sunderland, we will see tomorrow if you get him or if it's just rubbish.

If Liverpool want to pay 18m for Henderson then sunderland MUST bite their hand off. In big games he looks like a little lost boy among men, ie Toon home and away. Look what Newcastle bought, Ben Arfa ( french international) 5m, Tiote ( ivory coast international) 4m, Cabaye ( french international) 5m, total of 14m for 3 players that are way way above the level that Henderson is. Maybe sunderland scouting network is poor compared to Newcastle but surely they can find something other than south american flops.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Henderson is coming up 21, in 5 years time he will be a regular england international and it is 20m + you geordie clown. Our scouting network is better than yours and we have some really good young lads coming through our ranks, 20m for a player we brought through the ranks is quality, plus 2 seasons ago he was on loan at Coventry, good business but would rather him stay

Agree0 Disagree0

35m for a lad through our ranks is even better you silly muckem, Henderson is sh**e and he has proved it this season in the big games as the lad above said. 20m? Snap their hands off, maybe add another 10m to it and try to buy Graham Carr, seen the argie and paraguian flops your scouts have brought in, cant even get rid of them now and who could ever forget the amazing MILTON NUNEZ? ha ha ha ha ha ha

Ye its not exactly 18 leagues and 5 euro cups.fa and league cups are ten a penny along with European Super cups and 3 uefa when the uefa was actually a very hard competition to win.Ye it must be tiny your trophy cabinet compared to Liverpools.Have you ever won a trophy were a laced up ball hasn't been used ha ha Johnny Boy6

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I love how you now have to mention the european cups because man utd now have 19 league titles

What you just wrote immediatly brought an Ossie Orbourne album to mind, Diary of a Mad Man ha ha.What a ramble, your not Uncle Albert off only fools and horses are ya.During the war blah blah blah.Look, be realistic, Liverpool are on the up and up.We tore you a new rectum when we beat you at your fantastico originaly named stadium.Phil Jones nearly done, Jordan Henderson probably and if he's worth so much why don't you pay him a wage to go with his value, no matter we can afford him and he'll be off your hands in no time.He's sick of being booed off his home town people were he'll be given a chance to grow into a top echelon, if not world class player, yot have to be training and playin with top class players to get better.Juan Mata, good chance but we'll have somebody quality lined up if it falls through.Brett Ormerod Jay Boothroyd and Kieron Dyer don't exactly get the juices flowing do they. I'll be stickin my hard earned coin on yous going down next season.I could go on but when you read this i don't want you to go crazy, a cup of camomile tea before you read this dreamer. Jonny Boy6

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good look with giving him 4m a year in wages to a 21 year old, stupid clubs do stuff like that and that's how they end up in debt paying most their players that unless they get success, a 21 year old should only be getting 15,000 to 20,000 a week no more

These new generation of LIVERPOOL fans are morons.I like liverpool fc of old the one with class and got respect, not the person disrespectful fans etc you have now, the ones who cannot remember the last time they won the league.

Liverpool are a dead giant your finished times up.

You go on about success, before shankly liverpool were a nothing club and have only been a big club for approx 40-50 odd years, Sunderland were a big club from 1879 untill about late 1960s, since that era we were know as the last of the sleeping giants.WE have history not recent history like liverpool and not the dominance that liverpool accomplished as MANCHESTER UNITED command now, but we are a proud club a family club.

you also go on about fans, attendances etc.
We have not been champions since 1930s, we have not won a cup since 1973, we have never been a regular in europe never mind won it.YET WE STILL GET BIGGER ATTENDANCES THAN LIVERPOOL.

If we had the success you lot have had over the last 50 years we would fill a 100 thousand seater stadium out every week.

If you had our last 50 years you LIVERPOOL would be getting 15-25 thousand fans.

We have a support second to none in comparible with our size of club etc. If we ever get success no one could compete. {Ed001's Note - sorry mate but Liverpool were winning trophies as long ago as 1900-01 when their first League title was lifted. Liverpool were a big club in the 1920s when Billy Liddell was there, winning the league twice. There is no point talking about someone's history when you are ignorant of facts. Sunderland are a big club, but your average attendance last season was over 2000 less, despite having a higher ground capacity. I really think you are on dodgy ground in this argument.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Liverpool won back-to-back league championships in 1922 and 1923, but DID NOT win another trophy until the 1946 47 season when the club won the First Division . After losing 1 0 to Burnley F.C. in the club's first FA Cup final in 1914, Liverpool was defeated in the final for a second time in 1950 by Arsenal. The club was relegated to the Second Division in the 1953 54 season.

HARDLY AN ILLUSTRIUS HISTORY.

Soon after losing 2 1 to non-league Worcester City FC in the 1958 59 FA Cup, Bill Shankly was appointed manager and released 24 players. He converted a room at Anfield used for boot storage into a room where the coaches could talk strategy; here, Shankly and other "Boot Room" members Joe Fagan, Reuben Bennett, and Bob Paisley began reshaping the team. Shankly brought two key (Scottish) signings with him defender Ron Yeats and attacker Ian St. John, who quickly became the successfully nucleus of the side. The club was promoted to the First Division in 1962, which it won for the first time in 17 YEARS in 1964. The following year, the club won its FIRST FA Cup.

It would be unfair to disregard Liverpool s history before Bill Shankly but many could argue that this was the milestone that marked the moment at which the club went from being AVERAGE to gigantic to now a dead giant.

Between his appointment as Liverpool manager in December 1959 and his retirement 15 years later, he transformed a second-rate club, stuck in the lower ranks of the Second Division, into the finest team of its generation, winning three First Division titles, two FA Cups, a Second Division title and a Uefa Cup.

Any more questions or are you not going to post this. {Ed001's Note - have you forgotten the titles won prior to the 20s? How about the one during the war? What is your point? It wasn't like it is now, no one team dominated consistently in those days. The rest of your post, with its pathetic little attempt at a jibe about the club being second rate is not worth discussing. You have admitted yourself that your history is not all that great, it really isn't worth you trying to dig at other teams, you will just end up looking silly.}

Agree0 Disagree0

See your blind our history is great, thats the point.Also your the pathetic one having little digs with attendances etc.You should be gratefull also a mackem bob paisley carried on shankly's work and even won more than him if i stand correct.God i just wish sunderland had offered brian clough the job at sunderland he wanted but that's irrellevant.What if eh. {Ed001's Note - I wasn't having a dig, I was merely pointing out that you were wrong. You claimed Sunderland had bigger attendances, clearly you didn't, even though you have a bigger stadium which should have made your average higher. You also claimed Shankly was the beginning of Liverpool's history, which was also wrong. I really don't care where Paisley was from, I idolise the man for who he was, not where he came from. Mackem, Geordie, Scouser or Scot, I wouldn't care, just like he didn't.}
