I think Martin O'Neill will get a new contract if he does well this season which looks very likley I think it will be a new 4 year deal.

4 years? Do you reckon? The man is an old school manager that modern day football is leaving behind. Make 50,000 Geordies happy if he gets a 4 year deal.

This Message means that if o'neill signs a new 4 year deal he could be on at safc for 7 years or more because he's on a 3 year contract at the moment so 3+4=7 do you get that & that would mean o'neill could equal Peter Reids seven years at safc back in the past & you never know he might sign an extra year at Sunderland & that will mean o'neill would breaks the longest serving manager record & peter reids safc boss long time stay record to 8 years.

Can u read? A NEW 4 YEAR DEAL. That is not a contract extension, it is a new contract all together. This would mean that Sir O'Neil would have been at the club for 5 1/2 years if there is no new deal.
