Use our rumours form to send us sunderland transfer rumours.

SAFC and NUFC have the 2 best sets of fans in the country and I love the banter between us....I don't think any 2 clubs in England can match our passion to be honest. We are a couple of the few proper teams left who don't pay crazy money for players just to win...our teams are so unpredictable and that in itself makes us entertaining instead of winning all the time and getting millions of glory supporters

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Could we be more charitable to our neighbors on the Wear they have had a huge shock today.
The all time PL table out today has them 18th place and many are taking it as an omen for their position this upcoming season. Even the smoggies were ahead in 14th,what a kick in the nuts that must have been.
NUFC were comfortably in the top ten 7th actualy. So dont get upset lads if they must spend so much time on the NUFC site would you waste your time on the third team in the North East.
Remember league positions never lie

Agree1 Disagree2

They never lie hence the result at the end of the season with Sunderland officially being the North-Easts best team.
P.s Sad act jawdeez have you saw this new film by the way? Its called Tchoyi Story 3. :)Thought I'd ask.

Agree3 Disagree0

Did you not read The People on Sunday?
Newcastle were placed 18th Sunderland were placed 12th.
Newcastle wer slated so badly my sides are still aching from laughing so much.
Your club is an absolute mess.

Agree4 Disagree0

Bad come back Smb have not been in the prem consistently enough or even long enough over the past 19 year to be 12th ha smb

Agree0 Disagree0

Its all about where we are now and the future

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if that's the case everyones on 0 points Oh and tell Man Utd fans to forget about those 19 titles they won cos that's all in the past

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if you want to dig the past up...... 9-1

but this is where you change your mind and say "thats in the past" SGB

FTM

Agree0 Disagree0

What's more important..... if your going to keep going on about beating us 9-1..we won the league that year....so we 5-1 last year and you ended higher

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish everyone would stop going on about the past... the past wont help anyone next season so might aswell look to the future

anybody know whats happening with the kid roarie deacon. we got him on trial but have heard nothing since.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He signed a contract with Sunderland back in late June

Agree0 Disagree0

He can use both feet play on either wing and can also play as a striker.... Lots of Arsenal fans who watch the reserves were very suprised he was let go We might have a little gem there pop Robson found him

Agree0 Disagree0

Will he involved in the squad or just in the reserves?

Agree0 Disagree0

Think he is just being involved in the reserves to develop him I think

Agree0 Disagree0

He is one for the future, He might get a game if we were struggling through injuries... LOL, he would have had a game last season
If he does have a good season in the reserves I can see him being on the bench or starting a game in a cup competition. As said earlier , there have been good reports about this young lad, lets hope this he can take this opportunity and shine like he did in the Dallas cup competition he played in with Arsenal.

I can see him on the bench in a cup game

lets face facts. our wage budget has gone. we need to move players on before we can bring players in. bruce not looking for striker as we have gyan sessegnon wickham dong won tounkara and richardson who can play just behind. may look to bring in cheap winger for about 20k a week but thats it im afraid. struggle on the cards once gyan goes to african nations

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Did'nt Gyans lot et knocked out earlier, so wont be going??

Agree1 Disagree0

Give your head a shake, you either a geordie in disguise or a negative fan who needs to wake up, yes we have to get rid of a couple of players but that will happen this week and we will bring in a couple more, are wage cap is about £50,000, Bellamy wants £80,000 thats why he has not signed, SWP and Johnson probs want high wages aswell, if this Irish lad turns out to be good then it is another Brucie Bargain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gyan+Sess not going to African nations, both out

Agree0 Disagree1

Aren't Ghana top of their group?

Bellamy keen on a move to SOL and may happen next week, medical is a worry
Barton will not move to SOL, he want to go to Arsenal.
Shola Ameobi is still on the radar if Gyan leaves as expected.

Believable3 Unbelievable6

I would rather sign my gran than ameobi hes f@@@ing rubbishe couldnt hit a cows arse with a shovel mate s.b aint that desperate YET

Agree2 Disagree0

Dont be silly gyan going nowhere as for ameobi well

Agree4 Disagree0

Ameobi isnt fit to lick the mud from gyans boots. rather play campbell with 1 fit leg

Agree1 Disagree0

Dunno like, Ameobi was on the mark when he rattled the net twice in a certain game last season.

Agree0 Disagree1

Why do Geordies live in the past? Is that all they got now just distant memories

Agree1 Disagree0

God are you the same geordie goon who was posting about ameobi the other day? your sad imature people still going on about that result or the players who scored in it, but Nolan who scored 4 of them has gone, that team that beat us is being demolished by Ashley and Pardew. It was a one off. Past now, new season about to start, get with the times you SGB

Agree1 Disagree0

5-1 will never be forgotten over here, just like the over-reaction you've had over there to ending higher than us a newly promoted team.... and remember our dismantled team has only lost 1... 1st team regular player from last season and his replacement looks a bit handy Cabye...bring on the derby

Agree0 Disagree0

Shola always scores against you's and that gives our ears a rest from all the bs for a while...thats why we go on about him ha ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not just the 5-1, every discussion you lot bring up the past

CM CATTERMOLE
LM BELLAMY
FW SESSEGNON
FW GYAN

SUBS Westwood richardson elmohamady
wickham dongwon vaughun turner

Believable1 Unbelievable0

All the way up till Bellamy

Agree0 Disagree0

Would play either elmo or richardson instead of clattermole he'll only get sent off

Agree1 Disagree0

Whats wrong with bellamy like probably the best player out the lot of them

Agree0 Disagree0

He hasnt got sent of since the wigan away game thats almost a year ago think your way over reacting there like catts solid centre mid hes quality

Agree0 Disagree1

Totally agree with that team above. Would love to see bellamy at sol. Hopefully cattermole has grown up over the summer but I'd defo start him no questions

Agree2 Disagree0

WAKE UP Bellamy doesn't want to play for you's.

Agree0 Disagree2

Posted this morning and for some reason it never got posted i have been talking to craig bellamy this morning on the phone and does not wanna come unless he,s going to get over 80k a week

Agree0 Disagree3

Clattermole not sent off since wigan because he missed most of season injured. the lad is a liability and should be sold to generate funds

Agree2 Disagree3

Bellemy will have to go somewhere if he wants to play football every week. only a couple of clubs who could afford to pay half or more of his wages .safc are one of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Only 2 cluns can aford to bellamy wages and we are one of them get a grip it must be nearly bath time for you...if we can pay half his wages then guess what there must be 110 other premier clubs can aswell as we would not pay 65k for nzogbia numty

Agree0 Disagree1

Bellemy on 85k a week half that is 42.5k a week thats 20k less than n'zogbia and 10k less than steed was on. as for other prem clubs most dont want him

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes and we could not pay nzogbia,s wages remember and bellamy still likes newcastle you muppet

Agree0 Disagree2

Still likes Newcastle ??? you person isnt this the fella that sent all the texts to Mary Poppins who also had a go at your board ? He would love to ram it home to the mags you plonker LOL

Agree2 Disagree0

Look person as i said i speak to to craig bellamy on a regular basis he was taking the piss out of shearer as a joke and has said to many ocaisions he would come back but he,s to old for ma to buy i personally think he can still do a job in the premiership....

ok i'm just going to say this i'm a derry city fan and do me a favour SPELL HIS NAME CORRECTLY ITS MC CLEAN NOT MC LEAN OK. it not so hard. and he is the best player in the league of ireland and trrust me he won't be at sunderland for long and we'll be talking 15 million in one year he is that good

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sounds like a clean player to me :)

Agree1 Disagree0

18 goals in 73 apps for 4 years, one word POOR

Agree1 Disagree0

He will just be another daryl murphy or anthony stokes not good enough for the prem

Agree1 Disagree0

How many assists does he have? he is a midfield player?

Agree0 Disagree0

If hes cr@p we'll sell him to celtic for a small profit like other irish rejects

Agree1 Disagree0

Hate to burst your bubble but being the best in the Irish league is not particularly special...

Agree1 Disagree0

Or the french league eh?ha

Agree1 Disagree0

Considering French teams often get to the later stages of the CL, its pretty much common sense that its ten-fold better than the Irish League.

So I don't see your point there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do they get to the latter stages, not very often, they mainly get to the group stage because of the teams who finished 1st,2nd and 3rd but thats it, Lyon get through the group stages every so often but not consistant enough, so the french league is still average at best. doesn't matter anyway, this irish lad could be quality just needs his big break

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a Mackam and and by what you said , the french lads playing for the mags just need their big break too. (just trying to be fair)
I think this has the potensial to be a really interesting season for both our teams.... Ooooo its nearly here... Im like a kid waiting for xmas.... oh the foooty season , how Ive missed you
