Really hope we dont get fletcher. Hes very over rated and over priced. There are plenty strikers out there who are better than fletcher and would cost less than 10m. Im a season ticket holder and fletcher does not exiite me one little bit infact id be disappointed.

Fletcher is a target man and would do a better job than half the target men out there and he is only 27, he scored more than Carroll last season and he was 35m and he was playing in a poor side in Wolves!

Carroll never played a lot about 13 starts all season and liverpool never played to his strenghts.....i bet 90% of epl clubs would prefer andy carrol to fletcher if they had a choice......

I think we should go for Michael Dawson, Stuart Downing. Aiden McGeady and Adam Johnson. At least these players are better than the onces we have been linked with on the forum.

Johnson 12 to 15 million.. downing 10 million..dawson 4 million not sure about mcgeady....johnson on 80k a week that 4 million a year.....downing on 60k a week roughly 3 million a year not sure about dawson and mcgeady so add that up to buy adam johnson and pay wages for 4 years 25 million +............then downing 20 million +......then mcgeady then dawson then safc need a striker....what do you think now think its possible??

Man City would pay the extra wages above our ceiling if Johnson came. They have done it before and it would still clear their wage bill!

Ok then safc would need city to pay 40k a week as i believe safc have a £50k a week cap roughly.....then you have to ask would any other premier league team be intrested in him....qpr have the money to buy him and pay his full wages and he can stay near the capital where he likes being.........k

Just did a Q&A in and around where I live and work. And 80% of fans want to see British & Irish players only in the squad. And want to see the academy players bring into the first team. Fans looking at my Q&A love to see locals coming through the rangs. Something to do with being proud of being from the area and about saying he is from he. Amazing he important locals value others from the area. Fans want to see Angeleri, Brambles, Elmohamady, Richardson & a few others off the book. Fans want to see Ryan Noble, Louis Laing, Blair Adams, Billy Knotty, John Ryan and others given a change. So basically fans want locals, Brutal & Irish. No Foreign players at all. Looks like we are still untrusting of none Brits.
