We definitely need defenders. My fear is that Alonso was ok but for me was exposed by too many with only moderate pace. £3m is the most he is worth.
Ki was an expert at 5 yard pointless passing. We never seemed to 'push on' when he played (with exception of 2-3 games)
I've said it before and will again, we need to build our midfield around Lee Cattermole and look to get some much neede pace and precision into the side!!

Please explain again how Ki was one of the reasons we stayed up???? We only started to win games once him and Bridcutt were not available!!!
